There are so many twists and turns in this book, it's sure to keep you hooked right up until the very end! The fate of the Greencloaks will shock you, and all we can do is pray that balance will be restored in the final book. Connor and Meilin and Takoda find themselves battling increasingly insurmountable odds. One can only wonder how long Connor can hold out against the parasite, if Kovo will continue to be an asset or a curse, and their final fate as they also wonder about their friends on the surface. One of our friends will face a devastating blow, and the end will keep you hooked​. I anticipate re-reading the entire series toward the end of the summer so our minds are fresh when we read the last book. I hope they continue to make spin-offs or continuations of the stories! My only gripe is that I don't want to read Tales of the Fallen Beasts with Kovo on the cover, because I'm afraid that will be a spoiler for what happens in the last book, so it sits on my shelf staring at me. On the bright side, we'll have 2 books instead of one to read once we get the final installment come September 2016 or hopefully sooner.

Wow! This was amazing! All of the spirit animals books are! I totally did not see some of this coming such as the leader of the red cloaks real name or identity it shocked me all the way. Totally amazing I truly recommended for all of you who love the first series or any of the other books just startling and shocking. As such is the blow that one of the four main characters takes and also I love how Tasha joined the team. And it startles me at Tarik's past and his who his sister is. I love how descriptive each of the characters are and I love everything about this book I totally recommend it. You are a fan of animals or/and mythical things then I recommend it if you like Erin hunters warrior books then I recommend it for you too. If you haven't read any of the first series then I recommend to go back and read them all go ahead and read them there good, I recommend them!

10 year old girls love this book . It is so amazing . The only problem was that the book is called"the return" ... BUT MELINE CONNER AND TAKODA DON'T EVEN COME BACK ! I was my looking forward to seeing (reading about ) Rollans face when he sees meline again (hopefuly not another kiss -it was a horable moment-) Other wise it is a REALLY great book . I love it . (I think it's for) Ages 9-14 . Amazing book

There was a lot of action and it is my favorite by far book from the second series " Fall of the Beasts". My favorite character was Takoda because he is calm and right headed
