Great for a student if you don't mind the watermarks on the bottom.
I bought this casserole to substitute a saucepan I was using. As a casserole it's perfect for me. I'm a student and it helps me to cook in bulk for the week.I washed it two times before the first use, then I cooked some lentils on it (also previously washed with water). After I was done, I cleaned the casserole with water and dish soap. The interior had watermarks (see the pic).I really don't mind to keep on using it like this but I guess that some people would have issues with watermarks on their cooking pots.

I was expecting a pan, got a box of leaflets.
Don't know if mine was a one off or what. But received a box of leaflets. Literally a box full of leaflets

Ok for the price.
I bought this because i needed a larger casserole for the Christmas cooking and preparations. To be honest i was expecting more from this pot especially after reading other reviews. I find the bottom to be thinner than my liking, the handles are not the best quality also..but to be fair it does the job, it is large enough and it is light. Ive got it on offer for £15 so it is ok for the price.

Register for the extended warranty - you'll need it.
After 21 months and about as many uses (probably less), the pan has split around the sides, like a few others in the reviews here.I never registered the pan for its extended warranty (I made the mistake of thinking Tower was a good make so it wasn't needed) but contacted Tower regardless who refused to help, even though the pan was used little, and it was closer to the 12 month warranty date than the extended warranty date. I pointed this out to them, and that I'm not the only person to have suffered this exact problem as evidenced by reviews here (therefore it could be argued there is a manufacturing defect), they still refused my request for a replacement even though I made it clear I would happily pay shipping. It's a shame because other than the defect, it was a good pan - lightweight, cleaned well & versatile. If you still wish to buy this pan ensure that you register it for its extended warranty, you will need it.

I Hate It
Then why the five star review? Because this review is written for people who actually want a pot with a steel interior. I wanted non stick (which this item was incorrectly described as). I assume these people enjoy using pots that have food weld to the bottom instantly, then need to be scrubbed for 10 minutes with a scourer after use. So for such people, I am noting the other pointers about it:It is a good size.It has a thick, heavy bottom; great for powerful cookers, no good if you have a weak cooker or hotplate.Despite some silicone? rubber? on the handles, they get hot so remember to use oven mitts, and I think you'll love it.As for mine? Well after one use, I'm trying to think of someone I don't like I can "gift" it to.

Sturdy side handles
I bought this to venture further into the world of casserole cooking. Especially liked the 2 sturdy side handles which keep cool. A good product for the money
