Adobe Dreamweaver CS6 Revealed (Adobe CS6)

This is my fourth Adobe class using the Adobe Revealed books. These books teach by themselves. I joked many times that it's a waste of money to pay a school tuition for these classes. Next time I might just buy the book and work through it myself! Sample data files are plentiful and go along with the numerous step-by-step examples. Can't say enough good things about these books!

No exercise files are included with book like the other series I reviewed. After you figure out how to get them, exercise files, they are a pain in the you know what. Each file is zipped individually for each lesson. Would have been much better to have one large file zipped containing all the exercise files for all the lessons in it.

Love this book. I used it 5 years ago when i started college, but back then i rented it. Now i get to keep this book. I'm so happy to use dreamweaver after a few years again.

I used a shorter version of this book for a graduate level web class and liked the format. Wanting to learn more about the product, I ordered this book and love it's format. It's a very 'hands-on' approach and I'm a firm believer that the best way to learn is by doing.

I got this book for a community college course on web development class. What I have found is this is an great tool for learning dream weaver. It's is more helpful then Adobe's resources online. I also found the code view helpful for learning to code HTML and CSS.

If you've never built a site with Dreamweaver this book is for you. It takes you through a long process to build a website. I, however, just needed a book on the details of Dreamweaver. I've used Dreamweaver for years, but never took the time to learn all of it's applications. In this case I wanted to learn how to make my sites appear properly on smartphones and tablets. This book was only partially helpful in this regard.

Cheaper than the college bookstore and works just as well.

I have several books from this series including the Photoshop ones - they are well planned lessons that will increase your understanding of the Adobe products they cover. I highly recommend this book and any others from the series... I'm eagerly awaiting delivery of my Adobe Illustrator book from this series!
