ARIATMen's Sport Square Toe Western Boot

It's almost as if the spot on the rear part of the shaft where it meets the counter on the right boot is an 1/8" or so tighter than the left boot, just enough to make it VERY difficult to get the boot on or off. So difficult I thought about returning the boots. I dont think it would have detracted from the overall look of the boot if the design allowed for maybe a little bit more room. Or maybe it's a quality control issue . . . Hopefully the leather will stretch a bit before long, but I feel a boot should fit well from the start, including going on and off without unreasonable effort. Aside from that, once i get them on the fit is perfect. A little bit of room in the heel, a little bit of room at the toe, snug but not tight on the sides, couldn't ask for more for this aspect. Style is nice, overall look is nice, quality seems good . . . just that unreasonable constriction on the right boot getting it on or off requires a one star deduction.FOLLOW UP: a month later, the right boot is now just a little easier to get on and off, but I wouldn't call it "easy." It won't break the hard plastic boot jack, as it threatened to do at first. Can't pull it on with medium thick socks, have to use the pull holes to keep the shaft straight while using body weight to push my foot in. It's the boot, not my foot, as it's not an issue with any other boot, including my Ariat Relentless Prime boots. All that being said, I'd bump my rating up .75 star, a full star if I didn't have to pack a boot jack when I travel, these boots are quite nice. BTW Amazon apparently assigned the wrong size to this review, the boots are 11M, aka 11D.

I got these boots 3 months ago and they are awesome. I go through boots really fast but they’re holding up good, look good, feel good, and break in good. I broke them in a couple days since I’m on my feet all day and they are super comfortable I’ve never had sore feet after doing about 9 miles a day on average. They fit exactly how I expected and just like my other boots. And the grip is awesome even in rain and snow, and the heel is perfect height, for us men a couple extra inches never hurts. So I would highly recommend these boots for work just to wear or even dressing up. They’re my favorite pair I have

A perfect width at the widest part of my feet. About a half size longer than my Dan Post Boots which are also size 10. A little more toe room with the Square tip. With Crew socks they feel just right. And perhaps a 9.5 would offer an even snugger fit for that style of boot. I walked on all types of surfaces ( low pile Carpet, dirt, Concrete and Kitchen floor). The Boots came lined. There's a bit of concern about where the Leather is secured to the Rubber. Time will tell if it's waterproof. I don't plan on wading in puddles but the Boots will be worn more than my Tennis Shoes and sliders. The Circumference is wide enough to accommodate my Legs. There's a mild "Bucket" effect under my Jeans, so I may want to invest in Jeans with a different Pant leg if that really matters. I have read Countless reviews before purchasing. And it is accurate that Ariat Boots are best worn a half to whole size smaller than what is worn in Lace up footwear. My actual foot measurement is 10.5. It's also a true comment someone made, that there are Two different colors shown for one Boot. The Powder Brown that I ordered has conspicuous lighter hues that resemble Boots that are lightly scuffed. There are patches of rusty tones. I have no idea how they will look once I apply the Boot Grease to help them repel water. And I may very well invest in Dr Scholl's gel inserts in hopes to add a little more snug fit. They are not sloppy when I walk in them. And I did the fitting after 8 hours on and off my feet. I wanted casual, classic, functional and comfortable. These boots check all the boxes for that.

They fit and feel great. Getting them off though is a pain in the donkey! I get a nice squeak too with every step on hard surfaces, which is about everywhere I walk. It's super annoying and embarrassing. Putting them on is no problem and I wear them 11-12hrs a day 4 or 5 days a week. They look great and feel great.The width is fine for me, I have a very wide foot EEE and my foot has room and my toes don't rub in the toe box. I think the size I got could have been a half size down or more but might mess up the fit.If the soles didn't squeak with every step and I didn't have to rip my foot off Evey night getting them off they'd be the perfect boot.

This is my second pair of Ariat boots and my first pair of cowboy boots from this company. These are a traditional style of cowboy boot with a 2" riding heel. Despite the riding heel, I don't find these at all uncomfortable to walk in although I wouldn't want to take them for a very long walk. The fit is good, but for a first pair of boots I would want to get fitted in a store (which is what I did, with my initial pair of Ariat work boots). The sole is sturdy and stiff, which is what you'd expect from this style of boot. The uppers are well-constructed and comfortable, but fairly stiff (again, that's what you'd expect with this style of boot). You will want over the calf boot socks with these.

Absolutely love these boots for work and our hunting property. Have worn them for 7 years or so and glad to find someone that has them in stock. These boots have been discontinued by Ariat and replaced with one that has a saddle on the top of the foot making the new ones fit too tight.

My husband loves the boots. They were a little tight on one foot but after the brekin period he loves them

Very good boots

these are a little difficult to get on, I suggest a long metal shoe horn and nylon sock to start...once they are broken in...you are good to go.
