DELTA 520-MPU-DST Bathroom Single Handle Centerset Lavatory Faucet, 5.00 x 6.50 x 5.00 inches, Chrome

When we bought our home 12 years ago, the builder installed Delta faucets (five bathroom & one kitchen) & they worked fine. I was impressed that all six used the same ball valve mechanism & it worked well. They started dripping about a year ago & I installed new gasket kits in all & that lasted about a year & another gasket kit didn't solve it this time. ...I couldn't complain about something that worked well for 10+ years, so I looked to see what Delta made now. These are neat as a cartridge replaces the entire valve mechanism instead of o-rings, rubber pieces & springs, so 10-12 years from now, I'll only be replacing the valve cartridge & not buying new faucets & they have a lifetime warranty, so a call to Delta's 800 number will get the cartridges for free! The were easy to install; I was a little leary about cutting the piping to lenght, but I found a Delta YouTube video that did an excellent job of showing how & I had no problems.The picture is misleading. It looked to me like there is a central faucet piece with separate winglets on either side. I don't know why it looks like there is a seam, but there isn't & they actually look nicer than the picture. Also the spout is very wide at the end & it's like a small mirror if one is close (eg as one would be brushing one's teeth), & I find this a nice feature.They do what faucets are supposed to do & I'm a happy customer.

No problems at all installing this, to replace some 25 year old Deltas of the same type (if not the exact same model). I was pleased to see PEX tubing and what appears to be stainless steel throughout the drain portion. This should improve durability and make replacement easier (I had to fight with a corroded drainpipe on one of the ones I removed). Full marks to Delta for building quality products!Bonus points to Amazon for delivering in one day and at a lower cost than one of the big box home improvement stores who wanted me to wait a week to pick it up.

The polished chrome faucets look great and cleans up nicely. I installed one of these in our basement bathroom about 12 years ago, and it's still going strong. No leaks or drips.My only complaint is that these "newer" valve-bodies from Delta don't seem to mix hot and cold very well, instead quickly going to the extremes. Therefore, I adjusted the hot water "stop" to make it more obvious when the faucet is full-hot, and avoid potential burns for kids.I also needed to shim the stem that the handle installs onto, because the handle had a tiny bit of play.

I liked that this is a quality product and it looks good too. I followed the instructions and it worked perfectly. No leaks.

My plumber suggested buying this brand because of quality. Single handle design facilitates easy on and off. Also easy to clean and shine.

I am very happy with these faucets. My plumber said they are excellent quality, way better than average. They look good. I bought three.

This is the worst faucet ever designed. I returned the original one and the second one is the same. Unless you shut it off deadhead straight, it drips on the hot water and cold water side. I will never buy another single handle faucet ever again, and certainly not the brand. I'll buy a two handle faucet.
