Sturdy, but too high off ground
If you are buying a bench from home, I assume you somewhat series about your workouts. I found it to be very sturdy, so it was safe from that perspective. However, I think the seat is too high off the ground, especially when you tilt the seat for an incline position. I am 6'1" with long legs, I can barely reach the floor. I certainly can't drive through the feet and roll high up on my shoulders for any sort of bench press. This is a fundamental flaw.If you re-position your bench like I do, the wheels are too far off the ground. You have to tilt it almost 45 degrees before you move it around. I had expected to be about the height of a dead-lift, but I had to lift it much higher. think the back should be able to be set at 90 degrees (straight up) for military press, but it only goes to about 80 degrees.Minor points: assembly instructions are weak, however, I got past that so it was only a short term issue. I received all the parts undamaged.

Once it's assembled, it's a beautiful piece of equipment!
I bought this to replace a very high quality (but aged) Northern Lights stationary bench. I was a little worried that anything at this price-point was going to feel flimsy or cheap, but the reviews were very promising. They were spot on. I am VERY happy with this bench, it was relatively easy to assemble*, and it feels very sturdy when in use. It's heavy-ish, but it should be. It's easy to move around our gym with the attached wheels, and adjustment is simple. Highly recommended.*The only note here is that during assembly, it looked as though the seat adjustment pin wasn't going to line up properly no matter what I tried. This was very quickly resolved once I installed the seat cushion itself, which seems to have properly aligned the adjustment plates so that the pin fits snugly, instead of not at all.

Arrived broken, parts arrived 3 weeks later
My first impression was regret in getting this bench which looks to take at least 1.5 hours for most people to assemble. The vinyl fake leather is thinner and cheaper than I've ever seen used before, but otherwise the parts looked quite solid, albeit some questionable welding. However, after about 45 minutes I've noticed that one of the key parts that are required for the axle are broken, so I couldn't assemble the rest of the bench. The bench came with contact info for the company to avoid returning the bench through Amazon, so out of sunken cost fallacy I've opted to try and fix it by ordering the parts through the company. Their representative said that it'd take 5-7 days to receive the new part, so I figured I'd wait for it. However, it actually took 3 weeks to receive the broken part. Now that I've got the bench assembled it looks and functions decently. Note that there's a large gap in the angles between 0 degrees and about 35 degrees, so if you want angle that's in-between you could drill between the 1st and 2nd slits, although this would void the warranty or possible return.Overall it's a 6/10 quality bench for about $140, which seems reasonable. I've seen the price of the bench shift between $120 and $260 within weeks, so if you're considering it I'd wait for the price to be in the lower end of their asking price.

an affordable, basic work bench
i would have given it a 4 or 5 star if there had not been so many damaged threaded holes.the pictures above show one threaded hole that had a bit of metal chunk welded on and painted over. I had to chip a few threads to knock down that piece in order to jam thread the bolt in.I've run into at least 5 damaged threaded holes like this, for every major sub-assembly, in the course of assembly, knowing that I will never be able to disassemble it or i won't be able to put it back. The design is good and simple, but in this case, the quality control was really poor.

Good, sturdy, basic bench
I'm not a huge lifter, but I've set up a home gym as a result of covid. I wanted a bench to do bench press, military press and maybe some incline. I do not do decline. Local stores were sold out of their affordable benches; spent a lot of time looking on Amazon. So much of the product on Amazon looked like crap and reviewed like crap. Too flimsy. Not supporting enough weight. I'm only benching 120 lbs; but combined with my 185 lbs body weight, i'm at the limit of many of the inexpensive benches. This is really the only one that looked sturdy enough and adjustable enough (many reviewers complain of slipping off the seat if the seat is not adjustable when doing incline). You have to do assembly, but instructions are well laid out and parts are well identified. I commend them for their method of parts identification. No problem here. It assembled together well.On first test, it feels very sturdy. It's a good length and width for me (I'm 6'2"). Adjustments work fine. I really like the wheels for moving it in and out of my rack.Update: I initially rated at five stars. I've noticed the quality control standards are below my expectation. The mounting holes on the underside of the seat pad aren't aligned properly with the pad. The result is the seatpad is angled when mounted (see photo). It's cockeyed enough that it bothers me. I'm going to contact the company and see what they say.Update #2: Contacted the company and received an immediate (within 30 minutes) response. They are sending me a new seat pad, no questions asked. I am in Canada. The company also responded that if I receive any import charges, they will cover them. Great customer service.
