Product Description Dong Quai Root (Angelica sinensis) is a species of Angelica plant and is a cousin to fennel, celery, carrots and Queen -Anne's Lace, all members of the Umbelliferae family known for its umbrella shaped, flowering tops. Dong Quai is called by several other names in herbal literature: Dong guai, Dang Gui, Tang Kuei, Tang Kwai, or Tang Kwei. The part of the plant that is used is the root. Dong Quai tastes like strong celery, so it is often used in cooking. Dong Quai means 'proper order', and is the Queen of all Female Herbs. However, Dong Quai is also useful for men, especially if they are recuperating or elderly. Dong Quai is considered a warming herb in the Traditional Chinese system and is considered able to 'harmonize' the circulation. Will work if you have low estragen levels
This product works if you have low levels of estragen. This product acts like estragen so if you have high level, like me, it may not work. I have high everything, estragen & progesterone. I tried this product for 4 weeks. One of the problems is that it suggests taking two capsules twice a day wich adds up to 2,000 mil a day. Which from experience is too much. A healthier amount is about 1,500 mil a day. But if you have high levels already like I do it builts up in your system and caused (for me) a lot of scary side affects like, dizziness, confusion, irritability, and nausea. The reason I gave it 3 stars was b/c if you have low estragen levels this is a dream product but if you have high levels like I do you need to find a product that helps get rid of all that and helps balance you out. I'm starting on Milk Thistle and dandelion root tea and they are suppose to help your liver proses toxins (excess estragen). So I hope it works. Good luck!

PROP 65 WARNING ON BOTTLE TRACES OF LEAD POSSIBLE
The PROP 65 warning was something I wasn't expecting to see printed on the bottle so I'm kind of scared to take this product. If this slight possibility makes you uncomfortable don't buy it.

Strong smell
I can’t give this a 5 star review because it didn’t work for the intended purposes of what I bought it for but that’s not the sellers fault that my body just didn’t take to the herb. The herb has a string smell and a little bit of an after taste.

GREAT!
I've only taken my first month's supply so far, but this supplement is GREAT! Increased sex drive and easier menstrual cycles, plus my body just feels better in general. Wish it was 120 count instead of 90; I just take 3 a day instead of the recommended 4 and it still works great. Only complaint is that it STINKS! But it still gets 5 stars in my book and it doesn't deter me from taking it. Definitely buy!
