They keep the Omnipods on.
I have had a lot of trouble keeping Omnipods stuck to my skin. These patches keep them stuck securely to my body. Without them, the Omnipods pull away and become useless. The instructons are in Chinese English, which of course are horrible. "....press the patch to your skin suitably." "(4)FInally, rub the patch from the middle to the edge to make patch smoothly."But at least with these instructions, you get the idea. Also, they provide photos, instead of drawings, which helps immensely. All in all, these patches prevent you from wasting Omnipods due to detachment. Yes, I have wasted a few of the patches because I didn't understand the instructions. But they are so inexpensive that it was worth it to just throw away the botched patch and start over.

Perfect For Active 6 Year Old
They work really well on our very active 6 year old Type 1. Lasts a full 3 days and leaves no sticky residue, unlike the O5 Pod itself. We spray Flonase on her application sites prior to installing all of her "gadgets" to prevent the risk of itching (per endocrinologists instructions) and we have had no issues with itching since!

A tegaderm for your pod!
A Tegaderm for your pod. These are really good quality if you don’t stretch them. Apply it like a tegaderm providing even pressure in every direction on application. If you stretch it in any one direction, it doesn’t stick for long. Holds up to showers and swimming, too!

Difficult to use and does not stay attached
Sadly, I won't be able to suggest this product as its very difficult to apply and once on your skin starts to peel right away. As shown in my picture, this is right after applying a new pod and patch. Skin was cleaned with alcohol pad and allowed to thoroughly dry. This is my 2nd pod to use these patches on and out of 55 patches I have 48 left in the pack. Why are so many patches missing? Well, there are no instructions at all and 4 patches in I finally figured out it is a double-sided patch and the side without the blue strip needs to be removed first. I'm pretty smart and apply these types of patches to my Dexcom so it should be more straight forward. Anyway, the rest of the missing patches is due to the patches not staying put.The one I'm using in the photo I'm actually going to have to endure for the 3 days of my pod's life because if I try and lift it off to replace it, it wants to remove the pod's adhesive and I'm not wasting a pod for a patch that is supposed to keep the pod on.The only thing this product has right is the price/quantity although if it's not usable they could be free and still worthless. It helps slightly to have someone help you put it on. I peel the smaller section first then apply it. After the small section is applied, I have my wife hold it down while I fight to peel off the bigger part and then hope it will stick correctly.I don't like that OmniPod is so cheap they can't provide a patch like Dexcom does, but in my opinion if you need a patch to help keep your pod in place look elsewhere.

Good product
Great coverage. Gets very itchy after 2nd day though. I usually take it off then anyway but def water proof.

Good coverage
I received these adhesive patches one day earlier than anticipated so shipping gets an A+. I was apprehensive at first when looking at the overlay patches, but by following the instructions included in the package, the patch was easy to apply. This is my first time applying the patch which is supposed to last 10 days, however, I will be changing the patch after only two days because my prescription is written for changing my pods every 48 hours. I am hoping they are truly waterproof as I sweat a lot in the summer months and down here is the deep south we have high humidity every day. I will post a follow up to this review after I have worn a few of the patches in the upcoming humid summer months. The price is a lot better than the price for the Omnipod patches you can purchase from Sugar Medical, other plus in my book.

Difficult to use by yourself. I had to have someone help me put it on my arm- too hard to apply.
I found these to be very difficult to use by myself. I had to have someone help me put it on my arm. It is very difficult to apply with one hand which is unusual since the Dexcom overpatches are pretty easy to apply and they are made from the same stuff. But these are so much bigger that they tend to fall in on themselves and stick to each other so you usually lose the first one or two which is something I read about on more than one review. The reviewers were absolutely right. It is possible to use these easily on your stomach or leg but if you're going to try to put this on yourself you're going to need help.
