Q: is this a fiberglass screen

It appears to be molded rather than woven, so probably polypropylene. It is quite a bit finer than most, but not quite as fine as the clearview screens that came with my Milgard windows. All in all, it looks like a decent screen.

Yes, this screen has a pretty tight weave. Works great.
