Based on one of Woolrich's most popular jackets, the Dorrington, this rugged hip-length jacket will keep you warm but won't restrict your ability to perform in any situation.

Beyond Expectation!
I purchased two of these jackets based on name brand alone and they did not disappoint. The quality exceeded my expectation and I have high expectations for the brand to begin with. The jacket is made well with quality materials, it's soft, flexible, and warm. It has holsters on each side and elastic magazine holders in each pocket. I hope they make other concealed carry clothing because I will definitely purchase more.

Great jacket
This is a great jacket with style as well as the conceal feature which is why it was ordered. The fit was fine and pretty true to sizing info. It is rugged looking, but still appropriate for casual wear. Love the color of dark wheat. It goes with everything.

Fantastic Buy On Sale
In my opinion, no jacket with a twill outer shell would be worth the full retail price of this jacket; however, as I did not pay full retail price, I am thrilled with the purchase. I have worn the jacket around for about a month now. The twill shell is thick and heavy, and so far has resisted snagging and staining well. The jacket is warm enough for all but the coldest winter days. I have used the jacket for concealed carry; it has handled single stack autos up to and including a full-sized Kimber 1911 with a light rail without significant printing. The elastic loops sewn into the interior pockets to act as holsters are surprisingly effective. I have not experienced wear on the pocket liners from the hook and loop closures as some reviewers have reported; and the liner itself appears to be a light but very tough nylon Cordura weave, from which I anticipate no issues with wear. The likeliest weak points appear to be the internal shell-to-liner seams, which are single-stitched, albeit with heavy thread. All critical, external seams are double-stitched. The only issue I have had is that when I secured items to the magazine loops inside the handwarmer pockets (flashlights, magazines, pens, etc), they have caught threads from the ends of the elastic, consequently unraveling and fraying the scrap-ends of the elastic where it was doubled-over and sewn to the fabric. These ends should have been buried under stitching, and the flaw required turning the pockets and loops inside out and carefully fusing the frayed ends with a lighter. At full retail price, this would have been infuriating. At sale price, it was an acceptable. I doubt the unraveling could have continued past where the elastic is stitched to the pocket.

Great coat
Some advice though, if you're between sizes (like me, between MD & LG) go for the smaller size. Very roomy otherwise

great coat
Seems true to size. Dark shale has a green tint, it is not grey. Warm coat. Pockets easily conceal small frame revolver or compact pistol including inside pockets. I have not tried to insert mags into elastic loops in outside pockets.

Poor quality, worse customer service
I bought this jacket in September, but it has been too warm to wear it until a few weeks ago. Gun fits great in the inside pocket and the magazine in the outer pocket. However, after the second use the lining to inner pocket seam ripped. I contacted Woolrich, but was not given the courtesy of a reply. Too late now to return to Amazon, so I am out $120. Avoid Woolrich!Edit December 2014 - I took this to a local seamstress and for $5 she stitched the pocket back up. When it works, it works well but should not have torn at second use. Still would not recommend.

I like the jacket but the velcro location on the large inner pockets just rips large holes in the pocket linings.
I thoroughly enjoyed the jacket but suddenly noticed that both large inner pockets were ruining because of the velcro strips. I don't believe alot of thought went into the pocket design. The jacket was purchased in August and not worn until October of this year, so within 3 months of mild usage the inner pockets are falling apart. One pocket was never used and the material around the velcro is torn bad. I am disappointed because I do like the coat and if it weren't for this problem I would give it a high rating.
