Pinaud Styling Gel Hair Groom for Men, Conditioning, Non-Greasy, 3.75 Fl Oz

Older product that has been around for a long time and for good reason. Does a very good job of styling and holding the hair without being thick or tacky. Lightweight and has a fresh smell. Washes out easily. Works better than products costing 5times as much.

I love this stuff and I love the smell. It works great and honestly, you don't need much (depending on your hair)

I used to use a product by Clubman called Mold-It sculpting cream. This goes way back, the old blue one that came in the tub. That product was the best thing I ever used! It smelled fantastic, provided a medium-strong hold without ever getting stiff and it never made your hair look or feel greasy. It also didn't flake, it was really too good to be true. Unfortunately they discontinued it (all good things eventually come to an end) so the search was on for a replacement. I tried the new product in the tube that they marketed under the same name, but it was most certainly not the same composition. It was really a disappointment and I ended up throwing it out. Then I stumbled upon this product and decided to give it a shot. This is probably the closest thing I have found to the old Clubman and although it isn't perfect, I just suck it up and use it. This gel does have that great Clubman aroma to it, but it is not too powerful and like others have mentioned, you can hardly smell it once dry. I find this to be a bit too sticky for my liking, but it does provide a good hold. The one thing I do notice about this that I haven't seen anyone else complain about, is that towards the end of the day (particularly when dry out) I have found that this product begins to flake. It flakes off in tiny pieces that you can't notice unless you look closely, but when you do it makes it seem as if I have severe dandruff. Other than that, it's great, and I am losing all of my hair (most likely not from this product) anyhow so pretty soon I won't have to worry about it!

It smells good. Takes a while to dry but eventually dries without shine making it virtually invisible. Not the strongest hold, but does not add unnatural texture that some pasted do.

Product doesn't have a flip squeeze lid to open. Smells good. Gel is not strong to hold a thick set of hair. Good for very short hair. Will not purchase again.
