Didn't work at all
You have to have some very specific types of windows for this to even attempt to work in them, but it I wouldn't count on it. I tried using it on a bed frame like one of the pictures shows and it could barely hold its own weight, much less a cat's. It is also very complicated to put together or adjust. The big problem (other than the complicated assembly and very difficult adjustability) is the front "grips". They are larger than they look, so they don't fit into any of the window sills in my house. Maybe if they were horizontally sliding windows, but mine are vertical, so it would have kept the window cracked open. Even so, they are also smooth metal, so they don't have any actual grip and slid right off the wood of my bedframe. Which wouldn't be as big a deal if it weren't for how the "grips" are designed. They are supposed to be held in place by a screw that goes through the frame. Not a very good solution to begin with, but the frame is made of soft balsa wood so that screw very easily just pushed out of the way, which was made even worse by the fact that it was set too close to the focal point of the "grips" pivot.Really, the only redeeming quality of this is that the whole thing was quite a bit larger than it looked in the pictures. I'm going to try and make some modifications so it isn't a complete waste, but don't waste your money here.

My cat enjoyed this window perch until she got a cat tower/condo thing. I moved it to a window in another room, where she begrudgingly uses it, since I have yet to get her a tower for every single room (not happening). Was really easy to move. Construction seems nice, yet simple. PVC pipes. Rubbery mesh hammock. Cozy pillow can be untied to remove for washing, or switched out entirely. Metal cable should hold up to cat teeth. Suction cups seem really strong and I really like the twist to tighten feature on the top suction ones!

Complete waste of $30! I should had just went to petsmart.
Not for cats over maybe 5 pounds. Definitely not for adult cats. I only bought the product because it was rated 4 stars. Didn’t see until I checked out that it only had 3 reviews. The swing is so cheaply made that just putting it together broke one of the pieces. And yes I put it together just how the instructions said to. It felt like the pieces were measured incorrectly which made it unable to fit together properly. The instructions were also corrected with pen instead of reprinted. Which to me just showed that the company that makes this product probably doesn’t care about the quality of their products. The swing feels more like a $10 wish item than a well made $30 piece of cat furniture.

My cats are constantly trying to be the one in the seat.
I have 3 cats and they all are trying to be the one in the seat in the window. They love it. And sometimes I find two of them in it at the same time. It stays stuck to the window. If the suction cup seems to be a bit non stick, clean it with alcohol, let it dry, and then restick it. They love to lay in it and watch the birds, butterflies and bugs go by all day.
