Let me start by saying Ive gone through numerous Xoom chargers. All working in the beginning but rendered useless a few months down the line. Due to the Xooms poorly executed charging port its been frustrating having to buy charger after charger. When the Xoom was first launched I purchased it and loved it. Its battery life was fantastic and it charged up really fast. A year later my xoom would not charge with the charger it came with. Since it was under warranty it was shipped back and diagnosed. The problem being that the charger port was faulty and needed to be replaced. My xoom was sent back a total of 4 times since it was originally purchased due to charging issues. I purchased a backup charger a few months back and it now seems to have issues connecting to the port. Each time I would plug it in, it blinks on and off and wont stay fully inserted into the port. I would try to place the xoom laying flat to see if positioning it a certain way would remedy the issue, but to no avail. I googled zoom chargers and came across this one and took a chance. I was attracted to how this was designed compared to previous purchases. This charger is quite promising. Why didnt Motorolla come up with this in the beginning. The charger due to its swivel design stays inserted without issues of it popping out randomly like previously chargers Ive had. Generous cord length as well. I am very happy with how this product performs and even happier I dont have a dead xoom because to be honest I was beyond the point of frustration with this xoom charging issue. I will update in a few months to see if this charger this works on my xoom, but so far so good.

I own a Motorola tablet and the original charger's wire became exposed at the connector. I ordered this as a replacement and was very pleased with it. The new charger is actually much faster than the old one. The best part is that the connector is now L shaped so that the pressure is off the wire housing and it gives much more mobility. The old one was a straight connector and the wire always seemed to be bending which is where the rubber split. I love the extended length as I can be using it at the table and charge at the same time.

When I was looking for a replacement power supply for my Xoom Tablet, I unfortunately didn't see this product, and initially I bought a different product from another vendor that was more expensive, and worse still, it didn't snugly fit my Xoom (it would fall out unless I held it in). So I sent the first charger back, did some more searching, found this, ordered it, and I'm happy to say it arrived promptly and works perfectly (fits, powers, and charges just fine). I only wish I had discovered this one first!

My original adapter gave out when I saw smoke coming from the jack port when charging my xoom. At first I thought it was the tablet, but I wanted to trouble shoot this issue by buying another ac adapter for it. Once I got this one, I plugged it in to charge my xoom, and no smoke or any issues. Charged it up nicely and has been working ever since. I'd say it does what it does 10 out of 10. No problems, just have to wait and see how long it will last. For now, I can charge my xoom and use it again.The biggest plus with this adapter over the original one is the fact that the jack is 90 degrees, which lets you rest your tablet on your stomach if it is plugged in and you are laying down using it: it doesn't stick out and stab you like the factory one did. It protects the jack from getting broken.

I had to purcase this adapter because the first one bent and would not work at all. The little prong that plugs into your tablet does not go in all the way, it's the way it is designed- so it ends up getting bent if your not super careful. Though my tablet is outdated it still works perfectly fine ! I use it constantly for so many things, but it,s useless if you can,t charge it. This little adapter works great to replace the original -to at least be able to charge your tablet again! But again, you must be SUPER careful the prong bends very easily. I have been as careful as I can be and I see it is a little bent already..things happen... My cat jumped up on the table it was charging and knocked everything down! Anything like that- the thing will bend or break off! :)

If you have followed the evolution of Android tablets, you no doubt know that Motorola made one of the very first ones called the Xoom. Many of us still swear by our Xooms because they just work so well (in fact, I have 3), but the weak link in Motorola's original design is the charging system which uses a very thin charging pin that gets inserted into the tablet and is easy to wear or even snap off. This is what happened to one of mine and I ordered this Pwr+ adapter to replace it. The adapter works perfectly, charging the tablet at OEM speed and adds a red power LED on it's transformer that the OEM versions do not have that allows the user to verify that there is power to the adapter and that it is functioning. Nice addition! So if you find yourself in need of a replacement (or additional) charger for your Xoom, buy this - it just plain works just like the tablet.

This is the 3rd charger I've had for my old Motorola Xoom and this is the best one yet. One reason is because the single skinny charging pin is at a right angle to the cord end...a much more sensible design to keep that delicate little pin from bending (the reason my previous chargers went kaput).The cord is also generously long making the tablet easy to use while plugged in. Best of all it charges the tablet quickly.Very happy with this item.

In other words, this device charges my Motorola Xoom every bit as well as expected, required and demanded by the laws of physics. How about that!The "L" configuration of the plug-in is also superior to the OEM charger that came with the tablet. If you buy this unit you will not be disappointed.... unless, of course, you were expecting an aircraft carrier or a space capsule.
