I purchased this item for my 2019 13in MacBook Air. My first impression is wow! This sleeve looks and feels like it is worth well over what I paid for it. It has a very nice camel color and the inside is a gray plush. I ordered the 13in and had no problems with it being too small. It fit nicely and my MacBook felt snug and protected. As you can see in the attached photos, there is a pocket inside that comfortably fits my iPad mini 4 with its case. There is a barrier between the two to ensure no scratches. Mind you, my MacBook does not have a case, but I feel as though there was still enough left over space to accommodate the added bulk, but cannot 100% confirm that. I also have a mid 2013 13in MacBook Pro (no case as well) that did NOT fit in this sleeve, so I highly suggest sizing up if you have the older MacBook Pro models. My favorite thing is the added guard/protection that surrounds the zipper to ensure that the metal does not come in contact with your device. I appreciate this feature as I, nor anyone else, wants something that is going to damage their product. I cannot speak on how the case protects your device in the event it is dropped and I do not plan on dropping it for the sake of a review. All in all this is a 5 star product. I would purchase another if needed and am highly considering purchasing the next size up for my MacBook Pro.

Nice sleeve- looks very sleek and professional, and I can't imagine anything that one would encounter in day to day life harming your laptop through the soft lining. There is a separate compartment on the inside of the sleeve (kind of like a divider) which is great for storing documents or things like pens that might otherwise scratch your laptop. My only gripe is that the sleeve is quite smelly (leather is fake) but I'm sure that'll go away in a while. For the price, I'm happy.Edit: Knocked off a star; in theory, the divider inside is a great idea, but in practice not so much. I have a brief case that I keep the sleeve in and I leave the sleeve unzipped so I can just open the top and slide my laptop out. Sliding out, it's great, but sliding in, it gets caught on the divider unless I put my hand in it and pull the divider back. Small inconvenience but it gets gradually more irritating over time. This is probably not an issue most of you will encounter, but I have to say it's a daily annoyance for me at this point.

The sleeve is nice and seemed very padded. However, I couldn't even use it because it smelt so bad. I couldn't take it to school because it made me sick to have it outside of my backpack. Plus the smell lingers so my bag and my Mac still smell. Definitely sending it back and there's not free returns. DO NOT BUY!

this laptop case is really good quality for the price and looks great. there’s a lot of padding and seems very protective. the only downside is that there’s a really strong fish smell that hasn’t gone away (i’ve used this for about a month). it’s pretty embarrassing when i take my laptop out in class.
