I brought this for $49.99 last week and a week later the price is now $89.99 .A+ on the jacket being light weight, A on the material, A+ on it being full down no feathers, A+on the warmth of the jacket,F on small storage bag not included. Very little down insulation in the jacket. A nylon wind jacket would be lighter and just as warm.

I bought the jacket because I was looking for a new coat. When I seen the jacket I thought this is the one. I expected a big box when it was delivered instead I got this coat that could have fit in a shoe box. I thought I’ll give it a try so I wore it out on a cold day and nearly froze. For $167 I was not impressed. I know that it’s not Amazons fault but just because it has Eddie Bauer name on it just tells me that I’ll never buy anything with his name on it. I love Amazon and spend a lot of money on your site but this is the first time that I’ve been unhappy.

After doing some research, I figured this down jacket would be great, and I was right. However, I was bugged by the fact that no reviews showed the jacket: 1) “packed” into itself or 2) with the hood on! Whole thing is very lightweight and comfortable — I love this jacket, especially for the deal I got it for! Can’t wait to take it out backpacking.

The jacket is light and fits perfectly.
