When we originally bought our sofa, the furniture store tried selling us an extended warranty which would cover the replacement of the power cords if they were to fail. They claimed the warranty price was worth it because it would cost $100 just to replace one of the power cords (our sofa has 2). We declined their warranty. One day we were cleaning under the sofa and accidentally set it down on the power cord. Naturally the power cord broke due to this. We easily found this replacement for just $22. It was easy to replace and worked perfectly.

Good product

Dad pushed his recliner chair back and cut the cord. Saw how disappointed he was when he couldn't elevate his legs. Went on amazon and bought this kit. Couldn't believe how easy it was to replace the cord. The parts look exactly like the parts on the recliner. Bought another one for a family member who had a different recliner chair. They were so happy it worked. I'm not good with appliances or computers, but was really amazed how simplistic it was to put together. Took less than two minutes to get the recliner to work.

This was a good match for my power controller for my lift chair. Definitely worth buying. It's well built. Works perfectly.

Not much else to say other than it works. It took me awhile to bite the bullet and give it a try but I'm glad I finally did. Was as easy as opening the package and plugging it in. I went from having a power recliner that can't move to a fully functioning one again.
