Infinity Reference REF-9633IX 6x9 3-Way Coaxial Speakers (300 WATTS 100 RMS)

INCREDIBLE clarity, handles 100 watts/channel (RMS) with EASE and turned a car with a piss poor sounding stereo (speakers all mounted at bottom of the doors! Tweeters in A pillars and WOW! You would NEVER believe this is the same car! I've been running Infinity speakers for 20_ years. Yes, you can spend 5x as much of "niche" brands, but they will NOT sound any clearer, have more "bottom end" or accentuate the mids and highs as well as they do! y neighbor is upset with the sound in his new Toyota, heard me setting this up and asked me wat I know about sound. Well, he found the right guy! He listens to classical music, so we went for a half hour ride. He wants to trade cars (this is my son's car, to get hi through dental college and is 14 years old with 140k on it LOL) and I'd LOVE a newer Avalon ( same as the Lexus ES series) and I have to see IF upgrading his speakers alone will do the trick, without amplifiers, an aftermarket head unit with necessary modules to make it work....I need complete spinal reconstruction surgery (C1 to y Coccyx!) so I am HOPING speaker do the trick! I don't know I can take apart another vehicle most of the way to run 1.0 (he'd need 4 gauge) battery cable, splittes, multiple amplifiers and probably at least an underseat ub, which means I have to ensure one will fit first. With this stereo already being a touch screen, HOPE tapping into the igh side wiring for the speakers will work as he WANTS top tier sound! He already knows INFINITY speakers are the way to go! No Matter what you listen to, THESE speakers are more than good! Maybe not what they Kappa series sound like, but honestly, your ears likely CAN'T tell them apart. Mine can, but I a an audiophile for 47 of my 5 years! I don't recommend ANY PRODUCT higher than Infinity's speakers! Durable, great appearance (with grills used) and IMPECCIBLE sound quality from low volume all the way to where you hear e 10 seconds before you see me, and this is a 100% honest review, I get NOTHING rom Infinity (would like stuff though!) but I have install HUNDREDS of mid to high end stereos and Infinity is the way to go and these are likely the BEST sounding all in 1 6x9 speaker I have ever heard!!! I have heard A LOT! NOTE, the mid/tweeter on these are angled heavily! IF you mount them backwards, you will be disappointed, Remember this simple rule: The higher the frequency, the more directional it is....so you want them pointing at the listener! Failure to do so will result in you being dissatisfied with them and I imagine MANY have done exactly this in the past! I KNOW this: My son will LOVE his new stereo (complete)! The sound alone will blow people away! 6x9s in the rear, Infinity Kappa's in the doors with the component tweeters in the B pillars, right above ear level (nowhere else I could mount them) which equaled over 25 hours WORK, running amplifier cable to a splitter, all new speaker wires (16 gauge) which was a NIGHTMARE!) with a pair of small footprint with high output amplifiers mounted under his front seats! I also had to run a backup camera HD cable (the ones they come with are trash!) and I don't want to give him MY CAR back LOL....as now I get my old Civic back, which got both of my sons through college (3 1/2 yrs apart) although that too has a MONSTER stereo in it, so at least I lose nothing sound quality wise! I honestly do not know what else to say about these speakers! They well worth the money, VASTLY SUPERIOR to ALL other brands around the same price range and I've installed FOCAL speakers for many people.....Infinity sounds about as clean, clear with a WIDE and accurate coverage of the listed frequencies!

Sounds good even at high volume.

These are super high quality and a super bargain for the low price! They are capable of very low bass and even teamed up with my lacking Honda Accord 2005 factory radio deliver crazy good sound and are plenty loud! You might not need a subwoofer unless you really liked to be thumped. As some others commented they tend to be bright but any good equalizer should tame these to your exact preference. I have the treble turned down to -2 on the factory radio and the speaker treble button set to 0 dB (no treble boost) and I am quite happy with the sound. My only tiny quibble is that the tweeter and midrange bar are tilted inside of the speaker and the pictorial instructions don't give a clue for how to orient the speakers in the back deck of a sedan. I guessed that the mid-range/treble bar pointed towards the front of the car was the correct install.

Great speakers for the price can't go wrong with infinity they are built well and run at 3ohm so it won't damage your stock head unit and won't loos out on to much power from your stock head unit like you will with a 4ohm speaker most factory speakers are 2 ohm so these are a pretty good match and even have better bass. And crisper vocals.

Working properly with a nice sound. So far holding up.

I put these in my C4 Corvette and they sound amazing compared to the 35+ year old Bose junk that was in there. Even when I paired them with a cheap Amazon radio they still sounded fantastic. 🤣 Infinity never disappoints !!!

Bought these remembering their reputation from back in the day. Bad choice because they're nothing like I remember, sound is very muddy & clouded! Do not recommend and wouldn't buy again. Stick to pioneers!

Beautiful sound quality from these speakers. A huge improvement over stock. This don't focus themselves around bass however they have a very respectable level of base. Where these shine for me is just the balance of low, mid and highs. If you value clarity and you're on a budget. This is a no brainer. I recommend. Great quality

Excellent - but could not install due to shape (oval and not round) and hence to return. However, when tested the sound without installation, was an excellent quality including the build. Also delivery took more than a week - which is too long to wait.

Have a factory 15W rms stereo in truck. Other (decent) 6x9 co-ax that were recommended replacements for my door speakers required a minimum 50W to drive them. These infinity speakers transfer the power very nicely, no distortion when volume way up. The efficiency of these speakers is very impressive. Just make sure of a few things before installing in door: 1) The speakers are deeper than the factory installs. Make sure you have enough room in the door speaker enclosure. I had to jerry-rig an included spacer/adaptor to offset them enough from door enclosure rim, to make them fit. I got lucky and it worked. 2) check the connector type between the door wiring and speaker connection points. I had to search for and found (on Amazon) the correct connector before I could install them. After all that fussing around, I was pleasantly satisfied with the sound.

I bought these to replace my OEM ram bighorn 2023 back speakers along with Infinity REF697F for front doors and KICKER 46CSC354 for dash speakers, they fit perfectly and the improvement in sound was great, sharper, clearer and deeper, they come with sealing strip and mounting brackets, you just need to buy the adapters as to not cut any wires. Highly recommend this combo.

I installed them in a Ram 1500. They fit perfect and sound great. No issue at all.
