SIMPLIFIRE43-Inch Scion Trinity 3-Sided Linear Electric Fireplace (SF-SCT43-BK)

We closed in an old worn out wood burning fireplace with this. We live in Floria so we wanted the fireplace ambiance without all the heat. This fireplace does have a heater too, but we hardly ever use it. We built it over the old brick hearth and used butcher block for the new hearth and mantle. We put several coats of clear product on the top to get that satin smooth finish. We had a plug in right next to the fireplace so we used the adapter and just plugged it right in...no muss no fuss. We think it looks as real as a propane or natural gas flame. We really like all of the combinations you get with the colors for different times of day and moods. We haven't even set up the logs and other medium it came with. Maybe next year. All in all we are very happy with the finished product and best part is, no more cleaning out old ashes!

The best part, our friends and neighbors are totally impressed with this product. It has truly become a focal point in our home!

We are incredibly happy with this head turning, fully functional fireplace. It was a big leap spending this amount on Amazon, but well worth the calculated risk. I saw only a few reviews, but they were glowing. So I felt I owed others who may be “on the fence” my own.I cannot personally speak to the install as we are finishing our basement and this was added to the job but the builders did say it was one of the more professional and easier to install than they ever have.It has a ton of options for the flame and fuel bed and I’m using only a portion of the logs and clear rocks that came - I have a ton unused I may revisit in the future.Great quality and clearly an awesome focal point for Us. VERY happy!

I purchased a SimpliFire Scion 55-Inch unit in early 2022. In the middle of some house remodeling work, I didn't install it for a couple months. Very happy with the look of the unit, but after less than 10 hours of use, it is making a rubbing noise when the flame is on. From what I can tell researching online, it looks like the flame rod is probably bent and rubbing on something. No idea what caused this as the unit was never jarred in any way. Unfortunately, to get to it, I now have to dismantle and reassemble my wood plank wall which will result in considerable time and money. I could've easily spent 1/3 for a similar product, but went with SimpliFire because I thought it would be reliable. The manufacterer and online distributor have been no help at all with a unit that should still be in warranty. The good news from other reviews seems to be that I'm the unlucky exception, but I cannot recommend.

The media could not be loaded.  realistic flame, frameless view, easy to install. This is more expensive that other electric fireplaces. That being said, it is high quality and one of the few that is virtually frameless. So the 43 inch fireplace has a full 43 inch view (and 15 inch high). Great linear electric fireplace. Really upgrades my family room.

Blue flame on white embers looks right out of “Frozen.” :-) Attractive faux fireplace with contemporary flair. Bought it for ambience, not heating, knowing that it was only going to throw off 5000 BTU. Satisfied so far...
