Good light - works in garage doors
I have 12 of them in overhead lights in the garage and two in each of the overhead garage door openers (15 ear old Sears Craftsman's). This combination of garage door opener and GE bulbs works just fine with all of the bulbs on at the same time. This is contrary to reports published in several forums and feedback, and I just wanted to share this with other at large. Other combinations might also work; please try them before investing in much more expensive led bulbs "designed" for garage door openers.The bulbs themselves work great. Haven't had them long enough to comment on longevity. The brightness is also great, and the color is just like daylight, with no tinge of blue like in florescent tube lights.

Very bright, uses less electricity than incandescent bulb
These bulbs work well, and if you're main concern is in how many lumens of light a bulb puts out you should be satisfied with the brightness of these. Certainly more efficient than incandescents. Have not used these long enough to assess longevity, but it will almost certainly be shorter than what's advertised. I prefer incandescents.

I have installed these bulbs and they are BRIGHT, Just as I wanted! They are in my laundry room where I need a lot of light. I don't know if they will last as long as they say they will, but even if it is a few years, they are worth the money.
