If you want a plastic cigarette box, this is the one to get. Closest to the original box I had in the Army (that one has a spot for matches, this one does not). A few notes...This can hold both kings and 100s. Just turn around the box top for 100s.You need to remove the cellophane covering on the pack to fit cigs into this box...it is a tight fit.You will likely get a random color. Despite the fact I asked for black, I got blue.On the thin side compared to some of the other pack boxes on the market, but not too flimsy. Just dont sit on it. It likely will not hold up to that.Recommended.

These are similar to but not exactly like the cases I used to buy at Army PX's in the eighties. It's a two-part case with one part sliding inside the other. The ones I used to buy in the eighties had a little slot to put a book of matches. The case I received doesn't have the slot for a book of matches.The case is flexible, but still pretty tough. You could put it in a back pocket and sit on it and it won't damage the case or crush your pack of smokes.If you smoke 100's, either hard pack or soft pack, this case is perfect. I give it 5 stars for a pack of 100's.If you smoke regular size soft packs, you have to orient the outer case the right way for it to close to the size of a regular size pack of cigarettes. There's a ridge on the inside of the outer case that keeps it from closing any further depending on which way the outer case is facing. I cut the ridge off with a razor knife. It was easy to do. I give it 4½ stars for a regular size soft pack.If you smoke regular size hard packs, the ot of the inner case is about 1/8 of an inch higher than the flap on the hard pack and it makes difficult to close the flap. I cut the inner case down with a razor knife and used a steel ruler to help keep the cut straight. I give it 4 stars for regular size hard packs like Marlboro Reds.Overall, I give it 5 stars, but you might have to cut it down depending on what size cigarettes you smoke.

I used to use a product similar to this during my years in the USMC. Over time that case became MIA & I'd always meant to replace it. An item such as this that's as useful & practical shouldn't have been so hard to find (but it was).After looking off & on over the years I finally found it here on Amazon. Should have known... Amazon has "everthing". It definitely serves the purpose of keeping your smokes (kings or 100's) dry & un-smashed, when they're in a pants pocket or other dangerous spot. Another great product, at a great price on Amazon.

The case is built tough and work in the construction trade, money saver!

Sometimes crushes smokes sideways and seems to be more hassle than help... White lettering peeled off in less than a week.

do not buy this if u buy cigs in box ... they will not fit? and they will break... my puppy got a hold of it an broke it...would not recommend it for box smokers

What I don't like about this box is that it's hard to put the cover on and I crushed a couple of cigarettes not putting the cover on straight

This case works great for me. It protects my cigarettes from getting crushed. Also, I work around water and while it's not waterproof, more than once it's saved my cigarettes from getting wet, when they fell in. You just have to get them out quickly. At the price of cigarettes, this case was money well spent.
