Stunning Glass Globe Teapot with Cozy Warmer, Borosilicate Glass, Beautiful Chrome Finish Teapot – 9cm Stainless Steel Infuser, Large Enough for 4 to 5 Cups of Tea

My first thoughts upon unboxing this teapot were "Man, this is a classy teapot. It even comes with it's own zip-up sweater."I'm not quite sure what the little black zip-up thing is supposed to be used for, but it certainly looks like something the teapot might wear out for a fancy night on the town. But I digress, back to reviewing the teapot itself. Zip-up aside, it's a very aesthetically pleasing teapot all on it's own. The glass is very clear and comes with stunning curves. There's a certain minimalist quality to the design of the teapot that I do appreciate, I bought it with the intention of using it at the office and it certainly looks "professional" for that purpose. The diffuser is removable, which allows you to remove the loose leaf tea leaves once your tea reaches your desired levels of flavor. There's a good heft to it and definitely *feels* like it's hight quality.There are some design features that I don't quite understand the purpose of. For example, the metal lid fits on top of the glass portion of the teapot and is held together by these unattractive divots in the lid. The divots don't hold the lid onto the glass portion well and slightly distracts from the clean lines on the rest of the teapot. It's not a big deal but I have to imagine there could be a better functioning and better looking way to fit the lid onto the teapot.Overall, I'd recommend this teapot for it's minimalist design and use of quality materials. It also holds several cups of tea, which is more than enough for my purposes. Aesthetically it looks good enough for use at home or the office. And it comes with a fancy sweater for dressy-casual date nights.Updated review: After several months of use, I'm sad to say that I have to downgrade my rating from 4 to 2 stars. Quit frankly, the lid does NOT stay on properly when pouring tea and it has a tendency to spill tea EVERYWHERE if you don't use the gentlest touch. I've used countless teapots over my lifetime and I've never had this many issues. While it may initially feel high quality, I'm actually quite disappointed with this teapot.

I really liked the teapot at first. Felt it was a decent purchase for an inexpensive price. After the second use the metal piece attached to the top was loose and tea would spill from the sides. I feel the "spout" is much to short and if you pour to quickly you end up with a mess. I also have a tea pot warmer that I was not able to use with it. The tea jacket it comes with is a bit bulky and zips up the front and ended up wet more times than not from the pour. I loved the infuser and use it with other pots I have. My pot was accidentally broken by one of my dog so I no longer have it and am looking to replace it. Just not with this product.

This teapot is about as perfect as one can get. Quality made in a perfect up to four cup size. This teapot has an eye catching design. The quality of the components are easily noticed. The lid and infuser fit perfectly. The handle is solid and ergonomic. The see-through glass allows for degree of brewing. The stand is perfectly balanced and secure. It is easy to clean allowing an adult hand to fit inside. The included removable keep-warm jacket is a nice feature. The price point is unbeatable. I can't think of anymore superlatives to describe it. Highly recommend.

Wonderful glass teapot. I had an excellent teapot before this, but it was very delicate and I ended up shattering it. So I went with glass again, but decided to go with an armored one. :)The teapot is glass, but is sturdy. You have to pour it slowly or it will spill all over. Finally, I try to limit the amount of metal or plastic that comes in contact with my tea, so I don't use the metal steeper it came with, instead I use unbleached tea bags. As such I can't comment on that element of the teapot.

Here's the deal. It looks nice enough but it drips when you pour. I am sending it back, there must be something better out there. I emailed them directly and never heard back. As usual, vendors are quick to ask for 5 STAR ratings until you dont like their product.Such is life, I will continue my search.

Nice looking and functional kettle and does the job. My 5 star rating is the reflection of how customer-centric this merchant is. After couple of days of use, kettle began to leak. I notified the merchant and they immediately sent me a replacement which arrived quickly and in perfect condition. Now I am enjoying my afternoon tea.

The spout leaks all over the place when you pour so keep your pot over a plate when you fill your cup. However it is cute, holds a lot and keeps the contents warm

The teapot does the job. Exactly as advertised. The thread has already starting coming loose from the insulator sleeve. Even when I pour carefully, water spills. I still like this pot and use a bottle brush to clean the inside since the top metal part does not come off. Overall, it's nice.
