I bought these initially to protect them from my little kitten, but upon receiving them, I realized they were useful for so much more.- Reinforcing the ends of the cables where bending is more prone to cause damage.- Strengthening the entire cable for adapters with extremely thin wires- Colour coding my cables so as to help finding them much easierI found them very easy to install and if you don't want a single layer of protection, you just keep winding back and forth until the desired thickness is attained. And the end of the wrapper holds tight all my itself with no need to tape or glue it in place. If you make a mistake while winding, just unwind and try again. The cables are completely reusable if you eventually need to swap the wrappers out to other cables as the cables themselves become obsolete.I definitely plan on ordering more of these over time. They are effective and visually attractive. Would recommend this to any buyer. Just be advised that you are going to wait a while for shipping, but it is more than worth it!

I wasn't sure about these when I ordered them but I've spent the last two days putting them on ANY cord I can find! I've even ordered a second set.My cat was always eating my headphones if I accidently left them out, as well as my ipad and phone cords. When she ate through the thinner end of my $80 Macbook cord I had enough. I have put these on all types of cords and they are perfect!They do take time to apply, and not just minutes like the description says - but it's worth it. They are also not quite long enough for a full Ipad or phone cord, but that's easily solved by buying two packs or combining two colors. I tried the twisted method as well combining two colors (as seen on the grey and pink cord) and it was plenty long. I can't wait for the second pack to arrive! Not only do they work for keeping my cat off the cords, but they also help stop fraying and the best part is now we know who's cords are whos depending on color!
