You would think that a headset like this one with decent reviews would last longer than a month. Yeah, think again. I received the package and took it to my sound guy at this shop and had him install it. For the first few days its worked fine, then the problems began. My son started mentioning to me that the video would abruptly stop when I would be driving. I noticed that it would skip and restart the movie whenever I would go over the slightest bump in the road. At first I thought that it was because the disc was skipping but after some trial and error I noticed that when you insert a DVD and close the lid where the screen is, it does not close all the way properly. The edge of it is slightly open and thus does not hold the DVD in place. If you press down on it hard enough I can get it to work for about a few minutes. I have resorted to taping it shut for the time being just so my son can watch something on our long drives. I would completely recommend another headset besides this one.

For the money I am on the fence. I have had this installed in my car for less than a year and it now doesn't work at all. After 3 months the monitor part started coming lose. It has speakers on the unit but it is not easy to hear even with the volume all the way up. We had to buy a separate speaker to hook up to it. The monitor is now only being held into the head rest by the hard plastic frame and is angled facing more down than straight ahead. The buttons are falling out now and the door of the monitor doesn't stay closed. This causes the DVD to stop playing when we make a turn or hit any slight bump. With a 2 year old watching this in the back seat it causes meltdowns because there is nothing I can do to make it work.

Love this entertainment center. It does everything you need it to do. Plays regular DVD's. It plays videos in most formats AVI, MP4, and DIVXso so you put up to 5 movies on a disc. The SD card is the best option. I put a 16GB card in one and put 15 videos on it. My kids love it.When I bought my Ford Flex the dealer had an entertainment package that had the 2 headrest monitors and a DVD player that mounted in the dash that played commercial DVD's only for 2,500.00. I purchased 2 of these items and had them installed and the total cost was around 500.00.

Looks and works great the picture is awsome. One little thing, the transmitter for wireless headphones sucks. So basicly either you need a very good set of wireless headphones or wired headphones.

Bought a set for my grand kids as their Christmas present in 2015. They are still sitting in the box as no one could install them. The only place we could find capable of doing it is 30 miles away.
