I accidentally bought a "compatible " filter to use with my Jura coffee machine while looking for the best bargain. I will never make that mistake again! I didn't realize I hadn't purchased the Jura brand until I went to reorder. I searched my previous orders and found that my last purchase of filters were not the Jura brand. That explained why my machine was having problems. Every time I would replace the filter, the pump would not draw water. I called Jura and they helped me trouble shoot. They had me pour hot water into the water intake area with the water container off. That worked, after about 15 minutes of attempts, the first time I replaced the "compatible " filters. I still had four of these filters left. Every time I changed the filter I would go through a similar struggle. I used suction and hot water to try to help draw water through the pump. After anywhere between 15 minutes to an hour of working with it, I would finally be able to get the water pumping through the machine again, although it never seemed to pump as vigorously as it used to. When I had used the last of these filters, I decided to go filterless, which made me uneasy because my water is fairly hard. I used only reverse osmosis water to fill the coffee machine for a few months. That worked but my machine still didn't seem to work as well as it had before the non-Jura filter debacle. When it was time to descale the machine I decided to look into filters again. That's when I discovered that I had used a "compatible " filter on my last purchase. This time, I made sure to buy Jura brand filters. Good decision! My Jura is back to working like a charm. Hallelujah!!!

These fit the machine perfectly and so far have performed as described.

I have used this product in my Jura F7 for a couple years. In this batch of 6, I had 2 failures where water would not flow through them. Very disappointing and the manufacturer had no idea why. So when they work, they are great. So at this point, I have had2/18 failures.

Seems to filter as well as manufacturer's filters at a much lower price. A good value.
