Works!
Awesome product and fits my 18x22 cutting board that isn’t necessarily flat. This thingy prevents the cutting board from moving around on my countertop.

Works Perfectly!
I keep this Board Buddy in my traveling knife roll, it's flexible enough and ensures that I have a stable cutting board anywhere I go. I also keep the smaller model in my backpack, just in case! These are great, I was envious when I saw a colleague use one, and I've had several other cooks comment on mine - durable, can go through the dish machine, a great thing to have!

Really useful item
Perfect for my granite countertop. Perfectly sized for my 10x13 plastic cutting board. The cutting board doesn't slip at all when I am chopping. The "12x18" board buddyz size measures roughly 9" x 11.75".

great idea
Good idea, but...I have a 14 Inch x 20 Inch cutting board.I first bought the 12 Inch x 18 Inch.It gripped well but the board wobbled putting pressure on the edges because of the the size difference. My mistake.I didn't measure the actual size before I gave it away to someone with a smaller board. So I bought the 15 Inch x 20 Inch to 18 Inch x 30 Inch, planning to trim off any excess so it would just reach the edges of the board and be completely stable. But it only measures 11.5 inches x 15.5 inches. It still grips well and doesn't cause the board to wobble nearly as easily as the smaller one did, but the fact is that I can make it wobble by pushing on the edge. That would not be possible if the product actually measured what is advertised. What does 15 Inch x 20 Inch to 18 Inch x 30 Inch mean?A random surprise?15 Inch x 20 Inch would have been perfect18 Inch x 30 Inch could have been trimmed down with no detriment to the function. But it only measures 11.5 inches x 15.5 inches. It functions as advertised and I'll keep it but I did not get what I paid for.

Had my doubts - but VERY stable
It's clear in looking at it that some engineering went into this (OK, well not a lot, it's not like we're dealing with worm gears, but SOME ;)... It's just a piece of silicone, so I had my doubts. And it's tough to see from the pictures just how it's made, and how/where it might 'grip'.At the center, it's about 0.12 inches (pardon my $15 calipers if they're off), but it gradually tapers wider, and at the ends it's 0.20 inches. So the ends are almost double the middle. So, the part that grips is pretty much just the outside edges (4 'points'). Your board will NOT be supported a lot by this in the middle. If you have a flimsy 1/2" or less board, this will not help you. This is for 'beefy' boards that will not bend in the least under the pressure of a knife.I bought the 12" x 18" for my 15" x 20" x 1.5" Boos Brothers board and it's great. The outside edges are apparently all you need. I had previously just used the 'bubbly/perforated' shelf liner 'stuff' under my board, and it was OK, but it would still move around once and a while. With Mercer, it never moves a bit. Worth every penny, because any movement and a little 'slip', might mean you're going for stitches ;).

Simple, works.
It successfully stops my board from slipping on the counter. If you have a large board you may need more than one of these, because with just one in the middle, the corners of your board might rock.
