I am quickly becoming obsessed with Senbird’s teas and am so happy that I discovered them just browsing through teas here on Amazon. This Suzu Genmai is absolutely wonderful- so warm, toasty and comforting- made with matcha and roasted brown rice. The white pieces you see are rice that popped during the roasting process giving the tea a fragrant aroma. As you can see the color is vibrant and fresh looking. It is so enjoyable. I have now tried 2 of Senbird’s teas- the last one was their Sencha which was excellent also.

It doesn't happen often, But Amazon sent me something else by mistake. It was their brand new roasted brown rice tea. I got to say that it really does enhance the flavor of this tea quite a bit. So why should we drink tea? Well if you're looking at limiting your caffeine intake.. an 8 oz cup of coffee is about 100 mg of caffeine per. This is Japanese tea, So about 6 oz of green tea is about 20 mg of caffeine per. Keep in mind that genmacha tea sometimes has extra added caffeine. Plus if you're really into organic, the whole Tea is organic.
