Strings are the issue here.
I got these in mail yesterday. They will go in a pirate play sets/quart size bags 12* that I am making for our sister church south of us here in AZ. That church has less resources and less members than my church. The plastic is strong. solid. The white skull and cross bones was good color. Not bleeding into black. Not smudged. BUT the strings were very very thin gray rubber/elastic. Taped to back of eye patch in a wad. of the 12** 4 or so were is a big knot. had to be untied. All of the strings were barely tied in the eye patch holes. I pulled them all out and retied. Tight. I pulled on the elastic. I put a few on my adult head. String did not break. Kids should be able to wear them for a few X before they go broke. Cost 5.58. I used an Amazon gift card so free, I am home bound and cannot get out to a store to find these. Not a black string like shown in picture. Strings seem very long. May have to be tied in a knot in back so tighter to a child's head.Could be worse. For sure could be better.

Save your money, do not buy this ones.
Patches don't fit right. they bend and brake super easy. Save your money do not buy this ones.

Didn't stay on. Strings broke
Strings broke off on all of them. Kids didn't get to wear them. Would not recommend this item to anyone

Okay product.These are plastic eye patches that I bought for a Disney Cruise pirate night. I only needed one, but decided to buy this and give it out to kids without a costume.The string is very loose and isn't very strong. For its elasticity, the string is also too long. They could have fixed the strength and length issue by folding the string in half!

As other reviewers mentioned, the elastic string is very fine and come undone very easily. As long as you have a good ratio of adults to re-tie the eye patches to kids wearing them, they should work as a short-term party favour.
