Solid, reliable, great springs.
Been playing for 30 years. Speedking, DW5000, Mapex Falcons, Pearl Eliminator.Bought a DW5000 double, played it once, sent it back, as I play with tight springs and this had no way of getting the tension I wanted. The slave pedal had a bit of play as well.Bought this Pearl and never looked back. The only negative is the slave has dual pillars, which is good for strength, but can interfere with how close you can put it next to your hi-hat pedal.

Great versatile pedal for the money!!!!
As you can see I already own a DW9000 double bass pedal. Both of these pedals are amazing... The DW9000 is amazing, however after learning to play on Pearls P932 pedal then getting the DW9000 I was able to increase my speed and power.Fast forward to now, I already have the yellow and purple cams that dont come with this kit. I accidentally purchased the wrong cams when trying to adjust the P932. I got this pedal at a great price point. Some gigs I play I have to use the kits that are provided due to the amount of bands playing. Ive learned that I need equipment that can adapt as well. The selling point of this pedal is it can break down into 2 single pedals. Which will come in handy if there's 2 bass drums instead of one. Or depending on the music I may want to be lazy and stick with just one pedal. It all depends on the gig and the band I'm playing with.. I know my Pearl 2052C Eliminator pedal feels like it wants to go off to the races and being able to adjust so much on this baby. I also like how long the pedal board is as I wear a 13US mens size shoe... So doing heel toe isnt that easy with limited room. I will continue to keep both pedals but since I play a Pearl Maple reference kit I'm trying to keep with the Pearl theme. Beginners may find this pedal has lots of rebound and will need to make adjustments on the pedals. You dont need to spend $600 to go fast or sound good. I've seen drummers do amazing things with far less.

Could be the last pedal you buy
I've tried all the major brands on the market and I'm convinced that Pearl makes the most resilient, longest lasting, most responsive and easiest to use pedals money can buy. They're worth the investment.I'm a rock drummer who plays and records regularly. I retired a 30-plus year old Pearl single chain kick and replaced it with this Eliminator Redline. The amount of customization can be overwhelming, but if you give it a little patience you'll be surprised how quickly you can get it into your sweet spot.If you want to keep it beautiful, it comes with a hard-sided carrying case with pouches for tuning keys and beaters. (A nice bonus - there's just enough extra space in there to fit my favorite pair of headphones.) But if you're not into treating it like a precision instrument, just throw it in the hardware bag because the thing is literally built like a tank. Like all Pearl hardware the Redline is made to survive many years of real-life gigging.I haven't played on the Demon line of pedals yet but I'm not sure what they could have changed. In my opinion they hit the mark with the Redline.

Great pedal despite missing parts!
This pedal arrived without the beater and Amazon rep in help chat said he had no way of contacting the seller. (Which seems odd, but …) That said, the pedal is really solid and I love the design. I think I will really like it once the replacement beater (which I had to order at additional cost) arrives. So since I’m rating the pedal and not the seller and/or help rep, I’m giving it 5 stars. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed if you choose to get one of these!!

Smooth, fast and powerful!
I never write reviews, but damn! I'm in a progressive death/thrash metal band and I've been using Iron Cobras since the beginning. There's that old saying that if it's not broken don't fix it. It was true until I was actually able to try the Eliminator Red Line Series at a gig after the drive shaft broke and someone had lend me the Redline DP for the rest of the set. By the time the set was over I was immediately sold on them. The Ninja Bearings are on another level and the unlimited amount of setting adjustments allow you to comfortably perform any style of music. Play smooth, fast and powerful!

Solid pedal
I used to own the original Eliminator pedal and loved it. I decided to sell it and get the Demon Drive direct link pedal and used that for a long time before deciding that I really wanted to go back to the Eliminator series instead. I bought this pedal to replace my Demon Drive. It was nice to be playing the Eliminator chain pedal again, however I see they have made some changes. The biggest change that bothers me the most is that they have removed the drum key clip from the pedal - it isn't even any option you can buy later. The original Eliminator pedal had it and the Demon Drive pedal had it, but this one they took it away. I'm guessing Pearl did that in order to make the one less appealing and try to get people to buy the more expensive Demon Drive pedal. Jerks! Otherwise I love this thing. Solid, fast, and good weight to it.

Better Than My Demon Drive
I was playing on a DW7000 for many years. I then switched to the $600 Pearl Demon Drive (direct drive), because the DW pedal was too harsh on my ankles for long sets. The Demon Drive is extremely well made and very smooth, but after playing on it for at least a few years, I couldn't quite get it feeling 100% how I wanted, and it still lacked the power of a chain drive. This pedal was just delivered to me today, and out of the box without any adjustments, I want to say it feels better than the $600 Demon Drive. It is super heavy duty and well-made, is extremely smooth, and my quality of play is better than with the DD. Maybe it's my preference of chain vs. direct drive, but either way, this pedal seems amazing so far.My initial con (which isn't really a con) so far is that there are so many options to adjust the feel of this pedal, that I am almost afraid to mess with it.

Solid pedals, worthy of the investment
I bought the chain drive version, and these pedals are just EXTREMELY reliable, and versatile. I don't gig as often as I'd like to, but I've played about 20 gigs with this guy and they haven't disappointed at all. Yes, the price is steep, but it's an undeniable upgrade from other pedals such as the dw2000-3000s. They feel sturdy as all hell, and they look pretty dang cool too. I've heard good things about the belt drives, but I haven't tried out any belt drives so I felt like just sticking with something I'm used to... And I wasn't disappointed in the slightest

One of the best pedal out there
I hesitated a lot between this pedal and the DW 5000 double pedal. Really glad i took the pearl eliminator! Pedal feels and looks great! It really is a high quality build!(all metal/aluminum/ballbearing,etc) this pedal comes in a nice carrying case wich is very practical! I use this on a yamaha dtx 900k (electronic drum set) and is works like a charm ajustable in each and every way! Multiple cams(not available for the DW) for multiple style of play is a GREAT innovation, it basically let you "tune" your pedal right where you want it! I'd recommend this to any drum player . BIIIGGG thumps up :)
