Good quality and works much better than the cheap on that came in my guitar.
I bought this to replace the volume pot in a 2021 $179 Kramer Baretta Special. The pot that came in the guitar was either off or on with no in between. This new knob changes the volume gradually like it should. (Note that I tried clipping the capacitor off the original pot as others suggested for this guitar, but I didn't hear any improvement.) Installation was simple with a few minor tweaks. The wiring was the same as the original pot, so it was easy to remove/connect one wire at a time. The threaded shaft was a little wider than the original, so I widened the hole in the guitar with a 3/8" drill bit. The length of the shaft was the same as the original. There is a little tab on the knob side of the casing that I think is there to dig into the wood to keep it from spinning when you tighten the nut, but it prevented the pot from pressing flush against the backside of the hole, which made it hard to put the washer and nut on the front with the threads barely poking out crooked. I broke the tab off with pliers and just used the included star washer so the threads would poke out straight. About 2-3 threads poke through the front of the guitar to attach the washer and nut. The post is a tad wider than the original, so I found a drill bit that fit into the plastic knob hole, then used the next bit size up to ream out the hole by hand so it would be easier to press onto the post. Very happy with this upgrade!

Came quick, as advertised, perfect taper & turn friction.
Well, I think the title says it all. Very nice taper and turning feel. All prongs are straight and in excellent condition. The turn resistance is just right, not too stiff and not too lose, no wiggles in the shaft, just what most would want. These have the flat backs which I prefer as opposed to vintage style. It's easier for soldering without a shaft end to worry about getting puddled up by accident. It's also one less heat conductor/transfer into vital areas when you're soldering. Great prduct! NOte: I tried contacting the seller yesterday, when I was confused about a delivery. My package had 2 different sets of pots in it, and one was from another separate supplier so I got them confused. The other company sent me 1/4" shafts instead of 3/8" shafts as as listed. I didn't realize that it would be publicly viewed and I thought the stars were more of a current satisfaction rating of how I felt about it, so I gave it 3 stars. Later, I saw it posted in the feedback section once i had realized what happened, and I felt bad. I'm older and not great with computers, internet and understanding how it all works, but I am learning. So, to clear the air best I can here. That was entirely my mistake getting K&R deals mixed up with another supplier - because my package was bundled into one envelope and it was hard to tell. If I can I'll change those 3 stars to 5. If you see it, ignore that feedback. The 5 stars I'm giving it now, is NOT to make up for that feedback. It's because the product deserves it.

Replaced a bad volume pot on my Gibson SG
I had a bad volume pot on my Gibson SG. Just a few minutes of desoldering and resoldering and my SG is up and running again. Nice solid pot. No issues.

Good pot, but non standard thread size
Smooth turning and good sound quality, but the thread size is larger than any other pot I have, AND this pit only came with one nut, so makes it difficult to attach to anything thinner than 3/16". Hardware stores do not sell nuts that thin, so if you plan to attach to pick guard only you'll need some washers to shim it.

Good Quality, smooth
The top hat knob on my Epi 335 was a VERY tight fit on the shaft of this pot. Squeezed the slotted shaft together a bit with pliers and it slides on the shaft *almost* as far as it should, but it took enough force I was worried about causing damage to the knob or the pot.

Nice smooth friction
Great quality pots, really kicked the sound up a notch from the factory pots when paired with orange drop caps. The action is nice and smooth with good friction, meaning they don't turn loosely they're nice and stiff.

Nice Pots
These are a nice set of 500k CTS pots. They seem to be OK, as I have not installed them yet. They are all wired up and ready to go, but I'm still waiting for a Pick-up to arrive before I can do the final installation. I don't foresee any problems and CTS pts usually work well.
