Smooth electric like second hand movement. Good price. Threaded shaft length as illustrated. Recommended as high quality replacement.

Arrived on day advertised, was easy to install. Works with a continuous sweep second hand, not clicking off the seconds like the one it replaced, if that matters. Replaced one that was over 30 years old. Hope it lasts as long as that one did.

I carefully measured the existing clock that this was ordered to replace. It does fit well in the old clock. But I did find the hands a bit difficult to press in place. Once in place, the clock works well.

Movement was nice. It's a continuous sweeping movement. i wanted to try it out since the old one was a stepping motion. Works great. I hope it last 10 years as the other one did. Takes same AA battery. I used their hand shipped with the unit and clipped about 3/8" of the tip of the second, minute and hour hand to make them optically fit on the face of the Brookstone clock.Used hot glue gun as the previous install did. Keeps excellent time and is within a second or two after running a couple days. Recommend this item.

Easy to replace and works beautifully

This item was a perfect fit with great options for length and style of clock hands. It allowed me to bring back to life and older wall clock with a worn out movement. The best thing is how quiet it is. No more loud, distracting ticking!

I was getting discouraged with all the wrong variety of choices until I saw the one that specifically mentioned “no thread”. The clock is sentimental and is now keeping perfect time. Very happy.

Snaps right in to the clock back panel in our older motorhome. Easy to insert batteries and set time, moderately difficult to assemble and adjust correctly. The electrical and mechanical components are more robust than the ancient mechanism they're replacing.Be careful installing the clock hands.Be sure to check and adjust the clearance between the individual clock hands, between the bottom hour hand and clock face and between the second hand and any top glass or cover. Check clearances through the entire 12 hour rotation.It works great, after 2 months it has gained about 3 seconds compared to both my very accurate watch and internet time.

This fit perfectly in my clock after the HD-1688 Sheng Bang mechanism failed. I was able to use the existing hands from the old mechanism to keep the same aesthetics. Now, let’s see if it keeps time

Works as expected.

This clock is a good replacement for a 30 year old wall clock that stopped working. It was difficult to install because I had to glue it to the back of the clock face. I wish there was a different way to do this, but it works well once it is installed.
