Melissa & Doug Sunny Patch Giddy Buggy Broom - Pretend Play Toy

My 18-month-old son loves using the "big" broom but I have to bob and weave or I'll get whacked with the long handle. LOL.... so I love this broom and I chose it over others I found online because he is taller and I wanted the broom to last for a few years. The others would have been too small very quickly and this one is perfect for him and has room to grow.

I ordered this broom because I didn't want to keep a standard size broom in my sunroom where I also have a litter pan for my cat. The broom adds a touch of whimsy to my cheerful sunroom and works great for keeping the floor clean of stray litter. At almost 42" high it is still tall enough for me (5'4") to sweep without having to stoop over. There's also a hole in the handle for hanging it on a wall. I read the negative reviews about the broom being flimsy or dirty but I ordered two of these brooms and both arrived in great condition although I think it would be beneficial if they had a wrapper around the bristles.

This little broom is, not only precious but, incredibly useful.I am a Senior and, I use it in a high traffic area just outside my kitchen - where my dog's feeding area is - she is messy beyond belief and, my kitchen for quick clean-up's.It's true to size - being much taller than the usual kiddie brooms.This is one of the reasons I purchased the broom due to arthritis in my back that prevents my bending over.Just because I am old, does not mean I don't want a little whimsy in my home.Go on! Have some fun.Respectfully.

Got this for my 14 month old that is obsessed with our normal broom. It is much easier for him to carry around. I don't expect it to last for years, as he is very rough on toys. However, the quality and sturdiness of this broom is still very great for a cheaper kids broom! I'd recommend it for anyone with a toddler obsessed with brooms!!!

I got this for my 14-month old son, who would throw fits when I'd sweep because he wanted to hold the broom. So, for my sanity and his, he gets his own broom. He loves it, won't let it out of his sight, and frequently wants to watch me sweep with it. Other reviewers complained of scratches and smudges on the face/head. I literally cannot wrap my mind around why anyone would care if there was. It's a broom. And the kid didn't even notice. He's just learning to walk, and he kind of treats this like a cane, walking around with it in his hand. Good height, nice sturdy construction; all in all good purchase.

My one year old would cry for the broom when he saw me sweeping. He would always want to hold it so I ordered this because it was only $11 and he loves it. I came fully assembled and it's sturdy so when he leans on it (he's still learning to walk) I don't worry about it breaking. I think I'll be able to pass this one down when he outgrows it.

I could find plenty of brooms for the 3 yr olds but hard to find long enough handles for the 7 yr olds so I was happy to find these. And all the kids like them.
