Bosch Home and Garden Cordless Combi Drill UniversalImpact 18 (2 batteries, 18 Volt System, in carrying case)

I was both surprised and very pleased when I received my drill, though perhaps a little smaller than I was expecting, it makes up for its size with ability. Although quite light it is fairly robust and has driven in dozens of wood screws in a shed rebuild over the weekend without hesitation, and the battery shows no sign of reduced power yet. I am sure that the built in work light will at some time be very useful. It is very neatly housed in its own carry case, complete with spare battery and charger. It did have one problem recently when the function ring locked up and could not be rotated, but it did eventually free up and has not been a problem since. I think that this drill is excellent value for the price and ideally suited to the home handyman. Not sure if it could stand up to the rigors of professional use, but don't think that it was its intended purpose.

I wanted a reliable, sturdy, drill capable of general DIY tasks, with a good battery life (and a spare), that I could also use as an electric screwdriver. Apart from the screwdriver setting that works fine (but I find it to be a little too powerful), everything else is spot on. As with all Bosch products, it feels and performs like a quality item at a fair price. If you're confused with the enormous amount of choice in this category and aren't looking for the cheapest product, I would recommend this all day long.

Good quality drill from Bosch as you would expect. Great that it has 2 batteries so for longer use you can carry on while the first battery recharges. Seems slightly underpowered compared to my Makita but fine for a second drill. Be aware this is NOT an impact driver as might be suggested by the product description, it's a regular drill driver. Plenty of room in the storage case too. I paid 60 quid for mine on an Amazon offer. The regular 80 quid ish price point is a bit steep for the power of this drill. Happy enough for now though and the 3 year warranty is good

I trust bosch since longer.Exellent drill,easy to use,safe ,size wise good and controllable, not much heavy. Battery life so long since I bought it till now I use it more that 20 time average of 20 minutes each and still have battery and lastly have a nice appearance and look.

I have written a previous report about this drill which was not complimentary, having now used it for numerous jobs I have had a change of mind. It's a very good drill , reliable ,light and easy to use. Perhaps it would be a good idea to ask people to review products after a short while but not straight away.

Bought it some 2+ years ago to do all kinds of repair or drilling jobs around the house on black Friday sale. After over 2 years of use, it still works hard for me around the house. The battery life is good. Together with the drill, I also brought a set of 70 pieces drill and bit set, which I found it is a good companion with the drill itself. I like the cordless future, the power it delivers even when I have to drill the bricks and light weight of the drill. I would recommend it to my friends if this model is still on the market.

In the market for a drill, I did my research into what would be best for me for everyday use. I'm not a novice when it comes to DIY but I'm no expert either. Having looked and compared to other models, this one stood out to me as the best for it's price range. I bought the drill bit set separately as I knew I'd need it to do some work around the house. I started with mounting a TV on the wall. And boy, was it easy. The drill is really lightweight; I'm surprised every time I pick it up, expecting it to be heavier. The way it powers through wood, metal and mortar is perfect. It has enough settings that I can tinker with it but not be overbearing too. And now I can use it all around the house, as an electric screwdriver or a hammer drill, making it perfect for doing new DIY activities. If there's anything needing to be done around the house, I'm picking this thing up every single time - except for the washing, turns out you don't need it for that.
