EZ-ACCESS Transitions 1” Portable Self Supporting Aluminum Modular Entry Ramp

Worked awesome as a ramp to our outdoor wooden shed. Well worth the money to replace the rotten wooden one and prevents falls.

This is a fantastic ramp! I got the 4" version for the garage entrance to the kitchen. This is the one that is installed and working fantastic! The doorway is 31", so I almost didn't get it, but I am having some remodeling done in the bathroom and figured the professionals could cut it.Long story short, I was able to use a circular saw to trim just the piece that sits on the threshold and slide it in to be centered. I also had to drill the small hole for the screw that holds that piece in a bit further from the pre-drilled holes, but not hard at all.The ramp extends width wise out a bit more than the door, which is perfect and so solid. It had a bit of a bounce in the garage (without drilling into the garage floor (only to the door threshold), so I put gym floor cushion mat under it and it takes care of the little bounce and scratch of the metal on concrete while giving it a bit of a firmness.I also received a 5" one for the back yard door that works great!!I also bought two 1" versions that I am planning to use to attach together and put over the threshold of the new bathroom ledge for a shower chair. These are versatile and so glad I found them as I am making adjustments to my home now that we are caring for my grandfather here. Easy to customize. Don't hesitate if the height is right and the door is just a bit narrower.

We got this entry ramp so that my elderly mother could enter our home with her walker, without us having to raise pick it up, since there is a 4-inch step up. Now she can walk up or down pretty well. We have it on a concrete garage entryway, so we didn't try to screw it into the concrete, and we noticed that as we walk over it throughout the week, it slips slightly away from the step, and we have to continually push it back up next to the step. But it is sturdy and makes it much easier for Mom to enter and exit with her walker.The installation was easy, just basically slipping the parts together. The edges are sharp, so you have to be careful handling it with bare hands.

I ALWAYS select Prime items incase I need to return them- this says it’s a Prime item which I THOUGHT meant free shipping & returns, evidently not. I ordered this for my front door threshold. I received it quickly, it was packaged well- I’d considered it frustration free but still VERY secure, which is a rare combination- usually it’s one or the other. I put it together before I even noticed the instructions, so it’s very easy to put together. Very solid and adaptable. Unfortunately my storm door won’t close with it which surprised me because the lip isn’t thick at all. I went to fill in the return after looking hopefully for something from the same company that might accommodate my needs but couldn’t find anything. The returns page says to contact the manufacturer- which I did. The young lady I spoke to was very helpful, and apologetic that Amazon has it setup that way as the money doesn’t go to them and the returned items don’t even come to them. I called the number she provided got an automated system that sent me a return link that yet again took me to the manufacturer information. This is a GREAT product, I’m very impressed with everything about it but if you have a storm door know upfront it might not work with your door. And if it doesn’t work you can’t return it despite it saying it’s a Prime item. If you don’t have a storm door you will not regret this purchase.

This tiny ramp is great for getting in and out of the house. I broke my foot and my journey has caused me to have to make a lot of adjustments. We tend to take for granted simply going in and out of our homes until these kind of things cause us to rethink our new "temporary" norm.I can get access easily on crutches or cane using this ramp. It is also good to have if you are using a hand cart to transport items. Very durable. very affordable. It really serves the purpose well.

This ramp took 5 minutes to assemble and solves the problem of a too high step at my garage threshold. Edges are rather sharp, so I recommend wearing gloves during assembly. If you put the ramp on a hard surface like concrete, you may find that it's noisy when you step or roll on it. I solved this problem by putting a thin but sturdy doormat under it. It's a very good quality product and as a heavier person, I feel very secure stepping on it. I would definitely buy this ramp again.
