How would one describe the sound the device makes? Is it more of a hum or a buzz, or a clicking noise.  Does the device have  volume control?

Thanks for your questions.  Our device makes a "clicking" or "fast ticking" sound. The device does have volume control for your desired comfort level.

can device be used while other sound is running ?

Yes, I have done that with a secondary source, but not by routing the sound through the Gamma Clarity.  I re-read the instructions and while they don't specifically say it's not possible, they also don't explain how it could be done.  Visually inspecting the device, it doesn't seem possible to route external sound through the Gamma Clarity. There is one opening and it's used for the headphones.  That same opening is used, at other times, to recharge the battery.

Question 3

Seller... my device turns off after a few seconds and flashes red six times I can restart it but issue repeats how do I fix it?

There is something you can do to try to “wake it up”. Press and hold the play/pause button for 90 seconds and see if the light comes on. If the light comes on, you can let go of the button, then push it again for 3 seconds to turn it off. Then turn back on and use as normal. Sometimes when connecting to a charger if you are pushing multiple buttons it can get stuck in a programming mode and this is the only way to get it back out. If that doesn't work, there's one additional thing you can try.  There is a hidden reset button on the device.  You'll need a small paperclip or sim card pin to press the button.   You'll push/hold the button for 30 seconds.  Don't do anything else then take it straight to the charger for 24 hours.

Do you use this in conjuction with the lights or separately? Also, can this be plugged in and used instead of relying on the rechargeable battery?

Use with light 15 minutes to an hour a day..  great results.  Have to recharge with computer.
