Nice glossy result for an acrylic pour
I bought this as a medium to try acrylic pouring. I followed the instructions on the bottle: 8 parts of medium to 1 part paint. I used Golden fluid paint and it turned out really nice. The final product was very glossy and shiny which was nice. I will say it sucks that its so expensive because I want to do more pouring but I don't want to waste it. I tried a second pour with some water added to soft body paint and a little bit of the GAC 800 and it seems to have turned out ok. I only got little cells but I didn't add any weird stuff to it other than some rubbing alcohol.

Golden makes the best products
I use Golden fluid paints with this and get the most beautiful fluid paintings. The paints are highly pigmented so adding this to it with other pouring mediums doesn't dilute the saturation of color. Highly recommend for mixing with your paints, great results when dry and no cracking.

One of my favorite products to use
I love working with golden brands, gac800 its a must when working with acrylic fluid art.

No more cracked paint!
I like to use glue and floetrol for my pouring medium in fluid art. The glue will, sometimes, cause the paint to crack as it dries. Adding a tablespoon or so of GAC 800 to a 16 ounce cup of pouring medium, eliminates cracking - even when I KNOW that I have left too much paint on the canvas
