The Morning Meeting Book: K-8

Love the ideas it gives for the classroom.

Was excited to see it in stock but when I got it and began to look/read it...It is not realistic for upper graders. I was exspecting it to tell me new ways or ideas to use the first few minutes to get my kids involved. Instead I got the same old same old that I heard 30 years ago when I began teaching Kinder! I'm not saying the book isn't good but..let me put it this way if you need a paper weight or want it for free you know who you can contact...ME.

Bought for a friend as requested, friend thinks it’s a good book. Very useful and practical stuff there in the book. Recommended for teachers.

This book is clearly written and helpful to get morning meeting started. It has great ideas and suggestions to do during morning meeting. My school got Sanford Harmony a free SEL program. The cards for what they call “meet-up” are perfect for the morning meeting share and activity. Morning meetings are a game changer for the classroom. Amazing connections and conversations occur during the meeting time. It is worth making time for in the day.

I ordered this book AFTER ordering the "80 Morning Meeting Ideas" book and I should have done it the other way around. This book has the information you need to successfully implement a Morning Meeting Routine in your classroom. My students really enjoy it and I feel that my classroom climate is considerably more accepting and friendly since I have begun using it. We will see in future years if that continues to hold true, I plan to use it from now on. (I teach 4th grade)

This is a fantastic reference that has very useful and ready to do community circle items! This is good for all grades as the items can easily be scaled up or down!

Great resource for getting your Morning Meetings started.

This book is based on solid research and is an easy read. There are tons of great ideas in here and is especially great for newer teachers.
