Great alternative to a retractable cord leash
This is a perfect leash if you want to have the option of a lot of length or shortened, without having to wrap it around your hand or bunch it up. I'm not a fan of the retractable cord leashes, I find the cords to be flimsy on them as well as the mechanism that holds the cord at the length you want it. While walking my dog I like to let her have the room to explore but there are times I need to have a good grip on her and keep her close, this works perfect. It's made of high quality material, and will last quite awhile. The handles are nicely constructed and very comfortable to hold.

I'm giving this 4 stars because while this leash is good and sturdy (my dog is practically a small horse), the handle close to the dog is akwardly close to him. It's hard to control him with it because I'm right on top of him. If it were like 2 inches farther away it would be so much better. Otherwise I have no complaints.

Love the leash. And dog toy but you really need to proofread your instructions. Many errors

IN LOVE WITH THE DUAL PADDED HANDLES! DEFINITE KNUCKLE SAVERS!!
Ordered on 6/7/16 Arrives 6/10/16 LOVE THE DUAL PADDED HANDLES!!!!.. MY TEEN AND TWEEN LOVE THEM TOO!! That handle actually recently saved my hand.... Moose is a male 2 yr old American Bulldog that we've had since he was 3 months old... Moose has a habit of liking to suddenly bolt.... Well he decided to run around a tree the day we got it and tested it. The knuckle area of my right hand went directly into and was dragged across the bark. Surprisingly only my middle fingers knuckle actually got the tree and was scraped with a light bruise... Any other type of handle I know would have definitely gotten the whole hands knuckles, and more with the way our Lil Man is. The clasp on it looks like a very good one also! BUT ANYWAY AS I FIRST STATED, WE GOT THE ITEM ON THE 10TH SO HAVEN'T HAD IT LONG... WILL EDIT EVIEW AFTER MORE TIME WITH THE ITEM... BUT I AM ALREADY SEEING THIS ONE BEING GREAT!!!!

I love this leash
I love this leash! My black lab likes to zigzag and sniff everything all the time. It's long enough for her to go where she wants without pulling me with her but the shorter handle is great for busy streets. I live on a busy road with no sidewalks so it is important to have her close to me until we get to the neighborhood where we walk. I used to wrap her old leash around my hand to make it shorter, by the time we would get to a safe area my hand would hurt from being crushed, the handle on this leash is comfortable and the perfect length. I gave it 4 stars because I wish it was a little thicker material. My dog likes to have the leash in her mouth sometimes which means if it's not durable she will eventually chew through it. This one is already a little beat up but hopefully it lasts a while.

I can comfortably keep him close to me and work on the ...
I have a boxer mix that has some serious leash aggression that we have been working on. This leash is an honest God send. I can comfortably keep him close to me and work on the training exercises when other dogs/people/cars pass on our walks, but when no one is around he can satisfy his general boxer curiosity and have a little more lead. So far it seems sturdy enough to hold up well and I am not worried at all about him being able to break the leash in any way. This shipped fast, arrived on time as well.

It's nice to have the two handles
It's nice to have the two handles, the one that is closer to the clasp is great when cars are coming, or people are coming from the opposite direction, or you just want more control on how fast you are walking, our dog has a tendency to want to "say hello" to everyone that he sees, and he doesn't understand that they might not want to say hello or stop to pet him. Having the handle at the end of the leash is also helpful when we are in a big open field or a quiet street with no distractions around, we can let the leash go to the end of the "handle" and still have some control. Our dog has a lot of energy and with the extended leash/handle we don't feel like we are being dragged down the street when walking him nor is he under our feet.
