TalkTools Sensi Ocean: 5 TIP KIT - Depressor Green Tip Kit

This TalkTool Sensi sensory kit, and it is a great lightweight way to point out different parts of the mouth, face, or body, with the vibration. There are lots of attachments included and they vary in texture and size. Some are rubbery and chewy, not too hard at all. They're durable and seem to withstand a lot of chewing and biting. There are some that are longer and plastic, and are great at pinpointing certain places (such as the tip of the tongue) and making it vibrate. It came ready to use, after simply putting in the battery that was included. It has 4 different vibration settings that are easily changed by pressing the button with the light. The attachments are easily out on, you push the attachment inc and twist it to lock it in. It is secure, but simple for an adult to change out. This is a great little sensory starter kit, and I would def recommend this to anyone just starting out with therapy or training to become a therapist.

Child did not like. It’s loud and attachments are very hard to get on and off.

I have kids with sensory needs and was excited to try this. The first thing I did was take out the instructions and install the battery (included). The image in the instruction book shows grooves to screw the battery cap in. However, the actual battery cap does NOT screw in. In fact, the entire cap is also the head of the tool and where you put the tips. The battery cap does NOT stay on well. If a child bites very hard or pulls hard, the battery cap will come off causing this to become dangerous. I do not feel comfortable using this tool with my children even with adult supervision. Also, there are several tips shown throughout the instruction book that are not included. Like the smiley tip and the spoon tip. There are 9 tips in the book and 5 tips included in this set.

This comes with various heads for different sensory experiences. They push and twist lock in. The control is simple for it and they are sized for a child.

It wasn’t appropriate and they were expensive

This sensory kit contains the vibrating handle along with these 5 tips - wee chewy, wee round, textured side spoon, depressor, and textured probe. There are 4 vibrating modes, 2 or which are steady and 2 pulsating. Once the battery is installed the handle works fine. There is a single on/off/mode button on the handle. There are 4 LEDs that signal the vibration mode. The manual does a good job of explaining the use of each tip, with one exception. There is no mention of the textured probe in the manual. Perhaps this tip is a new one developed after the manual was written but there should at least be an auxiliary instruction sheet in this case. There are explanations of other tips in the manual that are not included in this kit, so I assume they are available separately. All in all, this is a decent starter kit for sensory therapy and is worth considering if you're in the market for this genre of product.

My toddler is in feeding therapy and his therapists use a tool similar to this which my son is accepting of. So it was an easy transition for us to use this with him at home. The kit comes with several replaceable heads, reusable bag, and a battery to get you started. The battery was a little finicky to get in but secure once so. This device is easy to operate and change attachments. The quality of this tool seems to be great. I feel this should last at least several years if taken care of properly. Overall, I think this is a great purchase as a parent and/or therapist who deals with speech/feeding issues.

This works as it should and will probably do as it's intended but it seems very pricey for what it is. I've never had a kit like this before but I wouldn't have ever expected it to cost so much. It's a small handheld vibrating wand type of tool with different shaped and textured attachments. I'd expect to pay half of asking price, at most. And only that much because of the way its marketed. I definitely reccomend this product for Littles with sensory needs but I'm not sure how you could get past that price point.

El producto me llegó en tiempo y forma, en una práctica bolsita con todos sus aditamentos pero desafortunadamente NO funciona. Al encenderlo, prende una luz y hace un sonido de beep, pero no cumple su función de vibración. Aún estoy en proceso de saber si me pueden hacer un reembolso porque en este tipo de productos NO hay devoluciones. La terapeuta de mi hijo lo Solicitó y recomendó, no dudo que sea un buen producto pero el mío NO vibra. Si logro que me hagan un reembolso, tendré que comprarlo de nuevo. Es una pena que no hayan hecho un control de calidad del producto. Actualización: el excelente servicio de atención al cliente me hizo un reembolso por el total de mi compra.
