Q: How do the chains attach to the Jeep? I don’t see anywhere to hook them on.

Next to the hitch, there are two "oval" shaped things... the hooks will attach (round side up) on those two "hard points". (that's kinda how we had to hook them back in the day with the real Willies Jeeps, as the military never did make the chains long enough to wrap around)

Q: Would this fit with the scx6 jeep if I drill a trailer hitch onto it? Can’t find any other 1/6 scale trailers

There is no reason why it shouldn't seeing how they are both the same scale... I use mine with my ROCHOBBY Willies Jeep, as well as with my 1:6 scale RC Stewart tank. Just make sure your hitch is nice and secure... when my Jeep makes any sudden stops, it tends to unhook, as the wheels on the trailer are very much free rolling (as they should be)
