I sometimes get dull hearing / pulsing sounds in my ears because of wax build up – and I have had an ear operation in the past which involved taking the bones out of my ear and replacing them, so I am ultra careful about things that go anywhere near my ears. But this – as long as you’re extremely careful – will do the job of moving wax out of your ear canal. You twist it in a spiral motion, and I hold it between my fingers with the edge of my hand against my face, to give me maximum control about how deep it goes. I haven’t pushed it in very far – as it’s quite a stiff piece of plastic – but it does do the job. Just go easy and do a little bit every few days. It’s certainly solved the problem of my dull hearing and – repeat! – as long as you are careful, I would recommend this. Definitely better than cotton buds, which just push the wax into your ears.

What is the point of this stupid little itemPointless

Doctors advise against putting anything in your ear. But if you are going to do it anyway, this is a good product. Much better than using cotton buds or any other tool I've tried. The supplied plastic case is rubbish and no longer closes, but the tools themselves are very good.

I bought it for my dad. He can’t stop boasting about how good they are. He uses them every day and likes that they come in a case.
