Nanuk909 Waterproof Hard Case - Blue

Gotta be honest, I usually buy Pelican cases only, but I needed something this size and couldn’t find it on Pelican. I wanted something not too thick and this case came close enough, like a small attaché case almost. I usually use foam dividers, so this was the first time I used cubed foam, with a little patience it was easier then I thought. The cubed foam is not an EXACT fit but still fits my equipment nice and snug isn’t going nowhere. I probably won’t put it under water, but even if this case comes into contact with a heavy rain, I know it will be well protected and dry. If you need a case like this for small electronics or whatever small item, I highly recommended getting one.

I have been planning to switch out my pelican cases for nanuk's for several years, mainly the smaller peli-1400s which are never full. I have over 50 pelican's and now have over 20 Nanuk 909 & 910's. I did a water test on both. If done properly, it takes 2 days to test one case. (Being a retired scientist). Nanuk passed all test plus one test not listed in any IP testing guidelines. However, i do have some small advice for users, DO NOT OVERPACK, this can cause any plastic case lid to slightly bow and lose of structural/o ring integrity. "Snug" is ok, but if it takes some effort to close, there will be a chance of leakage. This may or may not be the cause of some reviewers post on leaking. Fyi, some of my students overpack the pelicans too, causing leakage.

I purchased this case to house an infrared monocular and it's few accessories. The unit cost a little over $3,000 sostoring it in a good case was important. This case comes with a foam insert that is partially cut into small squares so you can cut them out for a custom fit. The company offers additional foam inserts if you screw-up or want to store something different. I also like the fact that these cases come in different colors; I can color code the things that I put in the cases so I don't need to apply labels.

Excellent case! Just the right size to hold my Hero9, and the majority of my accessories. Holds my Hero9 with waterproof case, 3 batteries, dual battery charger, Apple wall charger, floatie hand grip, head strap, 5 different mounting clips, 4 mounting screws, and 2 charging chords (one for the Hero9, and one for the dual battery charger).The foam insert comes pre-cut into small cubes, so you just need to pull the cubes out where you want your specific item to fit. One thing to note however, is although the cubes are pre-cut for you, they aren't that easy to pull out. Be careful or you could ruin the space you are trying to create. I used a razor blade to splice through the parts of foam cube that weren't easily removed, and a small pair of needle-nosed pliers to extract the foam once I cut through it. Fingers came in handy as well, in order to hold down the foam sheet while pulling out cubes and shaping my spaces.I now use the original case that came with my Hero9 for holding DivePro filters, SanDisk storage case, various additional mounting clips, and misc. items.All things considered, this case works great for my needs, and I know my Hero9 is protected. I can recommend this case without hesitation.

Bought this to hold our GoPro and other similar camera. This case came in and I was really impressed at the build quality. The plastic is very think and rigid and the red is an excellent color for standing out. We went through and cut the foam out to fit everything and have plenty of room for many more accessories. If you're looking for a great quality product and at a decent price look no further. We will buy the next size up when you expand with even more cameras and accessories.

I got this for my new DJI Mini 2 drone. Everything I need fits into this tiny case just perfectly. It comes with pull-apart foam so you can customize how and where everything fits. It's built like a brick outhouse. I can probably drive over it and it'll still be fine.The latch is IMO as good, or better than the Pelican cases I own, easier to latch and unlatch, PLUS it has a catch that prevents accidental unlatching or opening if the latch gets caught while getting used or pulled out!

I bought this case to carry my Ruger SP101 and it’s better than I expected. I wasn’t going to buy the Nanuk cylinder lock because it seemed overly expensive but, after seeing the case, maybe the lock is worth the cost.

I got this to protect my thermal camera that see's use maybe once every couple months. We use pelican cases at work, but this brand came up on my hunt, and since its my money, lets try to save a couple bucks. Well, I am very impressed. This is on par with pelican. Heck, I prefer the latches on these. Total convert for my personal purchases.

These Nanuk cases are amazing. The price point is low, given the high quality product. Before ordering, be sure the take note of the interior dimensions. Get a piece of paper and draw out the dimensions. Be sure to remove 1" from the dimensions (for foam insert products) to take into account the foam left on the outsides for protection. The pick'n'pluck foam is in 1/2" blocks (1.25 cm) You must take into account leaving at least this much between items. There's hardly anything more fun and satisfying than forming a new case, then putting in all of your gear. It's so cozy. I drive Formula Continental race cars and use these cases for everything, including my GoPro gear.

As someone who needs to transport large amounts of technology between locations, I maintain a large inventory of equipment in rugged cases. Of all the cases I have purchased, Nanuk is the only brand I felt compelled to write a review for.Every aspect of the design of the Nanuk case is well engineered, and the quality is outstanding. The fact that it is Canadian made is a big bonus as well (We all need to do our part to keep jobs in Canada).

Bought it to protect the NOCO GB70 as it rides around in my trunk. Fits the booster box and it's accessories (other than the fabric bag the booster came with). I was even able to leave a ring of foam padding around the booster. The case is solid and beat all the other alternative cases I could find for this booster.

I boutght this case to put all my actions cams with some accessories. Inside fits 4 Drift HD Ghost, 1 GoPro 3, 1 GoPro 4 and some accessories. I'm impressed by this canadian product. It's may seems to be expensive, but what's inside is way more expensive. I'm not afraid if the case is moving in the car or falls in the floor. I consider buy more of these product from this company. Also there's a limited lifetime warranty.

I wanted a color other than the standard black and this looks better and a bit more elegant. I am going to use this for electronics, so I decided to test it. I submerged it in 3 feet of water for 1 hour and there was zero inleakage. The locks are excellent and external locks can also be added. An added benefit is that it makes an ideal secure handgun case. I am very impressed and pleased with this purchase.
