Kraft Pimento Cheese Spread 5 Oz (Pack of 12)

I would just like to take a moment and say I'm impressed with how well this was packaged!! Our family loves this product and it's been hard to find locally.

This spread is so good on crackers for a quick snack or for guests. Why can't it be purchased in he grocery stores anymore?

I really love the Old English cheese spread and it's difficult to find in the stores these days, so I was thrilled to find it here. The product is five star. I deducted one star on the review due to the high cost. With shipping (which was actually quite reasonable) it's $5.37 per jar ($1.075 per ounce), which is an average of about 25% more costly than the other Kraft spreads I am able find in the store. This was the best price I was able to find and is a full case, so it will last a while. For me, even with the somewhat higher cost, it is so worth it.It was shipped securely in the original case, then inserted in a second box. It arrived quickly, in perfect shape.The sealed jars will last for quite a while in the pantry. Once opened, the cheese should be refrigerated. I suggest removing it from the refrigerator and allowing it to come to room temperature before using. It not only will spread more easily, but the flavor is enhanced at room temperature.For those of you unfamiliar with the Old English spread, this is a spreadable sharp cheddar... not the normal soft american type cheese you normally find in a packaged spread or cheese dip. What you get in the jar is just the slightly tart sharp cheddar. There are no bacon bits, onion, or any other additions. It is wonderful by itself, spread of crackers, stuffed in celery, etc. I do like to lightly saute a jalapeno in olive oil and mix it up with the Old English spread occasionally, for a spicier treat.

I love this product. So many good memories of eating it at home or at parties. I was very sad when I couldn't find it at stores anymore, but was so glad when I found ut at Amazon.

So glad to be able to purchase this, enjoy it as a snack on crackers and with recipes. Very hard to find but this was my third purchase from Amazon, by the case!

I absolutely could not find this locally so I had to order 12 jars it is tasty particularly when added to macaroni and cheese style boxes as additional cheese flavoring.I am sure it's high in cholesterol.

Very expensive
