How much dose is safe for snails?

We would not recommend to use salt with snails.

Is 33oz sufficient for a 30 gallon tank with 1 betta (some discoloration and eye issue) and 3 snails? 64oz is 4 pounds and seems like a bit much.

Its more than sufficient! It will last you a long time. 33 oz is enough to treat about 220 gallons! Thats about enough for 21 water changes (if you do 10 gallons each time). 1 tablespoon for every 5 gallons = 6 tablespoons or 3/8 of a cup. I have a 29 gallon tank and I do water changes biweekly (mollys poop a lot). I recommend this as some water filtering systems and treatments remove vital electrolytes. Think of it as Gatorade or alkaline mineral water for your fish. Its also good to have for when they are a bit under the weather.

How much do you put in to make a fresh water 3 gallon fish tank a brackish fish tank for my dwarf pufferfish

I put a tablespoon per 10 gallons, but mine aren't brackish tanks. Have had a Green Spotted Puffer for 5-6 years and it does fine in freshwater. Don't know if other kinds can be freshwater.

It says to use for up to 10 days only, right? What happens after that? Same old maintenance, and the fins will continue to heal? Thank you in advance.

It is not listed in the instructions to only use for 10 days. We would recommend to dose the aquarium and the salt will continue to be in there. The only time you would re-add salt is when water is removed and added back in.

great product

My goldfish was bloating when I changed full water with bottled mineral water; which I shouldn't ideally, but a small scoop of API aquarium salt worked wonders in 5 days. As the aquarium has some live plants, I didn't want to add too much salt.

Very good product

Uses as an early intervention for my betta fish fin rot. It was very mild case and in the beginning. The rot stopped and my fish was healed. Now i always add a little amount with every water change.
