Flat insert that works well with custom orthotics
At first I was disappointed that they sent me a box that had been obviously opened (see photos). I was going to send them back but after examining the inserts, I could see no evidence that they had been used so I decided to keep them.I have custom orthotic inserts that need to lay flat in the shoe bed in order for them to work properly. Unfortunately most insets that come with the shoe have built in arch support or thick curvature at the back of the shoe, which are beneficial to most folks but for me they are a hindrance for using my orthotics. In the past I've used Airpillow inserts, but they or way to soft and get chewed up by the orthotics. I needed something much more durable for an upcoming 200-mile through hike. These RUN 619 inserts are completely flat and are very study and look like they will hold up well with the orthotics. They are thicker than I anticipated but are about right for my shoes when I strip out the insert that came with the hiking shoes. Normally, I use 2 to 3 layers of Airpillow inserts, so this one layer of RUN619 inserts is about the same thickness. They are stiffer than I anticipated but yet comfortable at the same time. After a day of wearing them around the house, they molded to my feet and orthotics and felt very comfortable. I took them out for an 8-mile hike yesterday and they remained comfortable through the entire hike.I think I found what I've been searching for and will probably order a second pair for my other hiking boots.

IF YOU NEED AN INSOLE LIKE THIS ONE...THESE ARE AMAZING
there are so many specifics involved in getting an insole, there is no one type for all. but if you need what this insole offers, which is a flat construction throughout, especially at a thicker 6mm, then this is excellent.very solid construction that won't fray or come apart, and will not compact or get significantly thinner over time from use, though it will slightly mold to your foot (a good thing) compacting probably 1mm over time.my need for this was that i run in minimal running shoes, but my favorite brand have a 4mm drop. so i needed a flat, non-compactable but comfortable, well-built insole that i could cut so i would use the front portion in the front of the running shoe. i put the piece under the insole that comes with the shoe, superglued it in, and there is no more drop (meaning that the heel is no longer 4mm deeper, which forced me to strike my foot on the my heel while running, causing impact to my injured spine...hence why i need minimal running shoes).i don't know what your need might be, or whether you just want a thicker, well built flat insole for your boots or whatever. but the construction is of such high quality on this i'm sure it will suffice for many uses. it worked for mine, which i'm grateful for since both running, and protecting my injured spine, are important to me, despite seeming to offer conflicting interests. i will be buying more of these as needed in the future.

Not bad but way too narrow and pricey
Edit 1/08/23: Upgraded to 4 stars after being contacted by the company’s customer service. Seller addressed my concerns and sent a pair of wide insoles. They fit my regular sized shoe much better. I did not need to trim or cut them either. I have flat feet and the extra 1/4” makes a big difference. The wide insoles should be standard and they should consider making the wide insoles another 1/4” wider for people using wide shoes.I got these and popped them in my running shoes. They contour to my feet and I use them over a prescription orthotic. My issue is that they are too narrow for a regular shoe, leaving a space around the edges. For the price, the least they could do is widen them to correctly fit a standard shoe.I suspect the wide version would fit a normal shoe better, but they hit you for an extra $5 for that one. The wider version probably has the same effect for people who wear wide shoes. Had I realized how narrow these are, I may have considered trying the wide version.

No cushion at all
These are flat, hard, and uncomfortable. Don't know why the word cushion appears in the description.

Amazing well they last.
I have bought over 5 pairs of these. Well they are holding up they are fantastic. I walk between 20-40k steps a day and because of that they wear out very, very fast. I know it's time to replace when my feet start getting sore again after a shift. The issue is, these are meant for flat foot or minimalist shoes. After wearing them for a month or I wear down the material under my weight and then they don't fit like barefoot minimalist shoes and end up hurting. I would still recommend them though because if your not walking the same amount as me then they should last you.

Just what I was looking for
I love my zero drop shoes but they always have such thin soles. I needed a little more shock absorption when wearing them on the hard floors all day at work. I tried some other insoles that had a flat profile which helped but they were too soft and thin for what I need as a larger person. These are perfect. Nice and firm. They seem too hard at first but very comfortable once you start using them. First day I wore them I finally finished my day with no foot soreness.

Awesome inserts
These worked great from the moment I put them in my house shoes. I walk on concrete all day and have concrete floors in my downstairs with these in my zero drop shoes I do not notice how hard my floors are and my heel doesn't hurt. Better than anything I can buy at another store.
