This is a great product if you have pets or just want a little extra step to keep your home clean. It’s safe to use around pets and kids and all surfaces. It dries fast and super easy to use. There’s no residue and no harsh fragrance.

I was uncertain about purchasing after I had seen a few reviewers commenting that it caused color fastness. That had me worried that the ph would be off. I am fairly chemistry fluent, and know a good deal about chlorine production etc, so I kind of knew what I was looking for in terms of quality. Upon receiving the package I was pleased to see how well it was packed. I was also glad that I ordered in the winter months, as heat negatively impacts the concentration of HOCl in solution, and there is never any telling how fedex & partners will handle your packages en route. When I opened the bottle, I immediately smelled the active chlorine smell. It was not that public pool smell, think more like the old clorox brand “anywhere spray” smell. Very light, although you do notice a change in the strength of that over time. I used test strips and titration to Check the ph and the free chlorine level of the concentrated batch, and it checked out as advertised. I use this stuff on everything, and in everything. The main purpose is for my skin believe it or not. I happen to have mast cell activation syndrome, so undetermined environmental contaminants cause my exposed skin to get very red, very hot, and very uncomfortable. Using a dilute solution of hocl & distilled water on these reactions is nearly immediately soothing. If you look into it, this is the same chemical compound that our white blood cells create to help wounds heal, and it’s been proven to have anti-inflammatory effects as a kind of bonus. As if that weren’t enough to sell you, because it is not so reactive to many common bacteria, it doesn’t begin to deteriorate immediately. For this reason, there is a bit of a prophylactic effect that has been shown in studies as well. The way that the compound enters cell membranes makes it effective at denaturing proteins too. From what I have gleaned this would mean that it would in essence denature allergic proteins in particulate such as dust mite debris, and pet dander for instance. I have had a lot of success using this product on my skin, to clean wounds on my kids, dog and cat ears, and around the home to sanitize plus deodorize too. Using it in a ulv fogger, cool mist/ultrasonic humidifier, and even a continuous mist sprayer supposedly enhances the chemical’s antimicrobial properties. It also remains airborne longer, allowing more contact time with airborne contaminants. I don’t know if you have ever read about how long dust mites can remain suspended in indoor air with just natural air flow through the typical home…it’s disgusting. I promise that you will notice a pretty immediate difference in the air quality indoors. It isn’t been proved to sanitize or disinfect porous materials, however judging from its permeability, and mode of action on other surfaces, I feel confident using it on our plush surfaces, and rugs. It is fantastic for cleaning car interiors too. There is really nothing that it doesn’t do, and do well. Before I learned about hypochlorous acid, I would use hydrogen peroxide or peracids for many of these purposes sans topical/oral application, and was never really satisfied with the consistency of the effects beyond using it in laundry. I also wound up with chemical burns no matter how cautious I would be with pouring and mixing concentrated types. I am looking into generating my own, as this would be most cost effective for us, as we also have a pool & I would love to put it to use sanitizing my laundry without having to worry about it being too dilute. I wouldn’t want to carry on with that until I had all of the best components and mastery over the specifics. Until then I plan to stick with Brio surface/air, and easily recommend anyone interested do the same.

Wow drastically reduced the nasty dog smell throughout the house used in a fogger. Also it will help break down myoctoxins after mold remediation. Just a general all around sanitizer and deodorizer. Not chemical smelling just fresh and clean.

I’ve been buying smaller quantities of HOCl for my skin for years, but as I’ve learned more about its multi-use capacity, I was excited to try HOCl in bulk for multiple uses in my home, especially as it is safe for babies and toddlers. I dilute different batches for spraying on face/body, fruits & veggies, and surfaces. Great to have plenty on hand and so far the potency seems to have remained stable— though I’m not picky enough to test it. No residue, gentle even at higher concentrations, dries fast on surfaces. I use it to clean wounds, treat dry skin/excema/acne & even styes, clean high-touch baby areas and toys, and just general sanitizing especially in the bathroom and kitchen. Will buy again!

It works incredibly fast on stubborn, deep-seated odors, leaving the air and surfaces feeling completely fresh and clean. ​Surface Versatility & Safety: I’ve tested this rigorously across multiple surfaces in my home. It performs excellently on hard surfaces, but the real test was on my rugs and couches. Because it's peroxide-free, I was able to treat soft fabrics without any fear of discoloration or bleaching. It left zero residue and caused absolutely no damage or fading to the materials. ​The Packaging Flaw (Crucial Tip): The only drawback—and the reason I’d give it a slight critique—is that it arrives in a transparent bottle. Hypochlorous acid (HOCl) is notoriously light-sensitive and degrades when exposed to UV rays, losing its efficacy over time. While the cleaner itself is fantastic, shipping and storing it in a clear container isn't ideal for maintaining its extra-strength potency long-term. ​Final Verdict: I will absolutely buy this product again because the formula works wonders on pet messes and odors. However, when my next bottle arrives, I plan to immediately transfer it into an opaque spray bottle of my own to protect the integrity of the solution. If you have pets, this is a must-have in your cleaning arsenal!

How did I not know about this sooner??? I love it! It takes all odors away and leaves the house feeling fresh. It gives off a faint bleach, think lightly chlorinated pool. But it is not heavy at all. You can also water it down to where there is no smell. I love the smell of bleach (haha) and attribute that smell to a clean, sanitized house. This one checks all boxes! Make sure to keep it in an amber UV resistant bottle. I accidentally left it on my desk where direct sunlight came through, and it started leaking from the bottle. It was not full but did find a way to start leaking through the top. I am not a chemist so cannot get into all the properties of this and why the sun does it, but they are right. The sunlight will make it change and "irritate" it. Get it. You won't be disappointed.

I use this on everything. House cleaning, dog wounds, and my ever itchy eyes! It doesn't burn. But I'm no longer itchy eyes and for that I'm forever thankful. I buy gallons at a time and refill a continuous sprayer. I'm on my third gallon. I no longer use any other surface product to clean. Even cleans my toilets and DOG BOWLS of the biofilm! Excellent product.

I have just discovered this product and I am very happy with it! I have been looking for something to replace the disinfectant spray I have been using for years because while the disinfectant spray works well it also leaves a residue that has to be cleaned before food areas and such are safe to prepare food on.I also like to spray down my animals eating areas to sterilize them and so always had to clean the residue there as well. I love that this product is even stronger than bleach but is completely non-toxic and safe to use everywhere without ever having to wipe it up or worry about any residue being left behind! I just spray it on everything and leave it to air dry,it couldn't be easier to clean and sterilize my house. I like this brand because of their reputation and their excellent customer service, and the fact you can get it in this higher concentration is great.I am definitely going to keep using this product and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to keep their house clean and sterile. I also love the clean fresh smell of my house after cleaning everything with this product.It is a very mild chlorine smell that is not at all strong but just enough to put that fresh clean smell into the air for a short time.It is also very good at removing stubborn odors you want to get rid of! I used it on furniture and fabrics to eliminate cat urine odor,my new cat was spraying on things before he was neutered and this stuff took the smell away in seconds and left it all smelling clean,fresh and sterile. This is an awesome product and well worth the money.A can of disinfectant spray was costing me about $7 for one 19oz can and now I am getting a gallon (nearly 7 times more for only 4 times the cost) of a product that works better,is much safer and actual removes stubborn hard to clean odors as well. Love it!

A disinfectant that kills germs, has a very mild smell but is safe to use around my kids. I've used this cleaner in the kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and my kids stuffed animals. It has a faint chlorine smell but fades very quickly and neutralizes odors. Highly recommend!

It’s hypochlorous acid so, it’s great. The delivery was a nightmare. Amazon saying it was coming on a specific day but then nothing happens. Out of frustration I check to see what’s happening and Amazon says it was delivered successfully when it was actually nowhere near me🙃 I reached out to speak to someone but heard nothing back. Today I looked through Canada Post and it’s magically at the drop off location🤷🏻‍♀️ sucks being happy with the Brio acid but having no real recourse for the buffoonery on Amazons part
