The material is a bit thin for freezing liquids, but it's not too thin.The only complaint I have, is turning the 'ice pack' upside down, you cannot get all of the liquid out. Just look at the image, on each side of the cap, is an area lower then the fill hole. As a result, liquid fills those areas first before being able to pour out any remaining liquid. While you can hold it sideways, still you just hope it exits the hole, otherwise you have to shake it out.I ordered two of these, and par for the course, now amazon displays the two pack for $7 less, almost the entire price of one alone.It's good for what it is,

Was nervous at first since i used this on my carry on but passed scanners and everything. Worked like a charm and i saved so much money not having to buy so many over priced drinks

They work well, and don't leak. I had no problems with them in my cooler.They could be a tad darker or thicker plastic. You can tell there is liquid in them when using dark-colored liquids.But I'd buy them again.
