It goes 7 mph and that's actually fast! I used it for a go kart and it works. It's worth the money.

DONT BUY HOVER1 Battery won’t charge now. Lasted less than year
Battery life terrible. After less than a year battery stopped holding charge at all. Will work for about 10 min then dies.This is my second dead Hover 1 hoverboard.I would avoid Hover 1 products. No support either. Took 10 min to file online claim. Only support was email telling me batteries die and I’m out of luck.

Responsive seller
After a while hoverboard had balance problem, some parts broke inside. We requested refund, and seller did it. Before it broke, kids liked to ride it, it has beautiful design,bright color and smooth ride. We were sad that it broke down

it was great my nine-year-old loves it!
It was great it arrived in two days! I wasn't sure it would be good for my nine-year-old for his birthday, but it was! he was so worried that he would not be able to ride it but when he stepped on it, he just cruised all over the place. he fell once he got back up and was fine and the hover board was not what made him fall, he tripped over a stick. I definitely recommend this hoverboard for 8+ it was great for the price and great alone!
