Classic Legendary Vacuum Insulated

My husband had requested something that would allow him to take hot soups with him in the winter-time to work. He drives truck overnight and wanted something that would keep his food hot and be "low tech" and simple. Enter - the reliable Stanley. There's a reason Stanley has been around for a long time! They are known for their quality products. This thing is built tough. All the pieces are quality and will last for a very long time, I believe. The handle would be the first weak point, I would imagine, and it's a very hard, durable plastic fastened with all metal parts. This Thermos fits about 3 soup ladles worth of soup in it, but is small enough that it fits perfectly in my husband's Rubbermaid, cooler style lunch box. It fits perfectly on it's side on the bottom, which allows for room for other items as well (water bottles, snack containers, sandwich container, etc.). It does keep things hot! My husband works 10-14 hour shifts, and we always load this up with soup steaming and right off the stove-top. Even if he doesn't get to eat it until the end of his shift, it's always still warm enough to be appreciated. It does state that it is not dishwasher safe. Not sure why, but we have been hand washing it. I have small hands, and can fit mine inside to clean. My husband has to use a bottle brush to get inside, but it's smooth and easy to clean on the inside. Overall, I would recommend this item for someone in a similar situation! It's worth the price to have something home-made and hot on the road.

Built to be bomb Proof. Keeps my liquids hot and has heft. While I made the false assumption it would fit in my Stanley Lunch pale (both the 5.5 and 10qt), I find it does stand alone so far is my go to for work. No seepage, spillage and holds the right quantity. I will be testing with oats and soups soon. I found cleaning this to be a straight forward task. While I do not have slender hands like I did in my halcyon days, now they are hams because age and lifting things, a good bristle brush and elbow grease gets her GI clean. The lid does need extra care because things do tend to get under that rubber gasket that seals it. Still, I am enjoying this Stanley and it compliments my new lunch pale.

There is nothing like a Stanley! It’s been around forever, keeps soups and items super hot or nice and cold. Follow preheating or cooling instructions and follow recommendations. Great for drovers and delivery people or just traveling. Claims are true with hours it keeps foods hot or cold. Love the quality and no chip surface.

It keeps the food warm for hours! Just follow the directions. Preheat the thermos by putting hot water in it and have it sit for 5 mins without a lid, then put in your food and seal.

Wanted a vacuum container with a wide mouth and a cup. Keeps soup, chili, stew, etc hot for an entire work shift (driving city bus). Just what I wanted.
