Good value in a road Uni
This is a good uni for the money. It does what it is supposed to for street riding. I can be put together with the included multi-tool, but 'real' tools will make the job a bit easier. Check the screws holding the seat, the little hex head screws. Some of mine were loose.Based on other unis i've had I was worried about the single bolt quick release seat post clamp, but it has worked fine. The pedals are CHEAP! The Bell pedals at WalMart are probably better pedals. I had a set of Odyssey Twisted PC pedals sitting around so I put those on. There are a lot of good plastic pedals around 20$ on Amazon. The tire is HEAVY and I hated the tire profile so I found a road mountain bike tire and replaced the stock tire. The seat is surprisingly comfortable for being a 'value priced' unicycle. The downside of the seat is that the cover is not removable and it's kind of clown colored. The cranks are light but fine for pedaling down the street. This is a good uni for fitness riding. It's the largest Uni in the Club line of unicycles and that makes it a good value. To me it's biggest weak spot is the crazy heavy tire. If you look on Amazon at similar tires they are some of the cheapest 26" tires on the site. But with all that said, it's a good Uni for the money. It's not a toy and if you use it as intended it will last a long time.
