I use this device to tighten my high-top tennis shoes every day. It works well!

When I get new tie shoes which are usually Tennis shoes, it is hard to get the laces tight. As a child I used something like this to tighten my Ice Skate laces. It worked great with my new K-Swiss tennis shoes.

Helps my kids get their skates tight enough to perform well. Lightweight and inexpensive.

I can’t seem to figure out the trick to using this for tightening my ice skate laces, however it’s a fantastic tool for loosening them. My dexterity isn’t good and the roughness of the laces tears up my fingers when putting on and taking off my skates, but this tool saves my fingers when loosening my skates. It works really well and helps me take off my skates much faster. When not in use I store it right on my laces so it doesn’t get lost as it is pretty small. Only used a handful of times so far, so I’m not sure about durability.
